It's a shame Billy Shoepack wasn't in this version, but it was still a fantastic episode. Changing it to take place before Bigg Freeze chronologically, the tracking on Big Stack's name in the close ups, and the sense of danger is all perfect.

I completely forgot Little Ditcher sounds like an anime girl and absolutely broke down laughing when I heard her voice.

Puffa from Tugs: “A mass of logs! On their way from the lake! Get down river, fast! I’ve got to get to Uptown station to warn them!” Puffa from Salty’s Lighthouse: “A whole bunch of logs got loose up river and their heading this way fast!” Puffa’s warning from the original Tugs episode made it sound more like sounding an alarm in an emergency than the one from Salty’s Lighthouse.

I'm still amazed by how you edit Big Mac's name to say Big Stack.

That was neat how you removed any mention of Puffa's name from Salty's Lighthouse and brought back his original name through Captain Star's narrations.

Didn’t think a reconstruction of this episode was going to be possible though thankfully with the new narration it was. Something though I’m surprised SL didn’t do was have a segment that used Up River’s footage that had Billy Shoepack blow the logs up. I’ve seen some people make the argument that the explosions would’ve been too much for the young audience but I find that hard to believe considering the footage they used from Munitions and the fact they kept him blowing up a tramper in half as per the footage they used from Trapped. Getting back to this episode’s edit, I really like how you gave Little Ditcher and Chooch- I mean Puffa a reverb in their voices since they’re speaking through megaphones

Yet another episode which was very much similar to the original. You can tell in some parts that dialogue was lacking as the narrarator took main stage however, another solid episode.

Headcanon: The narration is Captain Star telling this to Salty, his grandson, and tweaking things for the kids.

I kinda wish you had made THIS the last episode so OJ's line, "Time to shove off mates, we've done all we can do here" would be more poignant lol; but still, can't wait for Saturday, so Bigg Freeze can be the bigg finale!..... alright, I'll leave.

That line "You're getting warmer, and so am I" is cleverly written. In fact, a bunch of lines from the Salty's Lighthouse retellings of the episodes are.

I love the redubs and retellings, but I feel like Puffa should have kept his original voice in this. It just doesnt have the same impact John Baddeley delivered.

This is probably Henry’s least favourite Tugs episode

Shame there's no Billy Shoepack here but it is very close to the original "Up River" and truth be told, I always thought "Log Jam," "Logging," or "Logs" was a better alternative for the episode's title. It was the only one where I thought the title could've been different.

Are there going to be any more of these like annual stories or did you only intend to do the thirteen original tugs episodes ?

I know some people don't care for but using a girl voice for Sunshine was a good call 🤙
