James, Thank you for doing these interviews! I’m amazed at the class and work ethic some of these legends like Muraco, Masked Superstar, Bill Eadie, Valentine, Windham, Blanchard, Sullivan, Ricky Morton, Rich, Dutch Mantell. These guys were tremendous in the 1970s & 1980s and will NEVER be replaced. Today’s fans and wrestlers owe them at deep debt of gratitude and respect. Simply tremendous!

Loved watching Tully Blanchard growing up in the 80s. I'm sure the guy is an encyclopedia of wrestling knowledge and wrestling experiences but he definitely holds back in these shoot interviews. You can see him thinking about the question and how to give the question a very softball answer I'm sure off camera he would have a ton of interesting things to say. Love the guy as a wrestler but not as a shoot interview

…other than his daily intake of cocaine, I think he took 12 too many chair shots to the cranium! Seems to be in early stages of dementia. He’s a Christian who does not want to name names.

It definitely was...and this has been one of the better Tully interviews I have seen. I'm still not sure if it is that he simply doesn't want to be there/doesn't like doing interviews..or if he is just has a bland personality. I can't remember who it was..I want to say Miss Hyatt...but I'm not sure...she said that Tully was a perfect heel for tv wrestling because he just had to be himself. Hehe

I really enjoyed hearing the Tully Blanchard and couldn’t have more respect for him. He was truly an old school bad ass and took the profession very seriously. I greatly admire his professionalism and no-nonsense attitude.

Tully has been one of my favorites for a long time, but getting him to say anything in an interview is like squeezing blood from a rock. Incredibly guarded and not one for conversation.

Tully seems like the kind of guy that isn't worried about what others were doing. Just keeping a low profile. Thats how I'd have done it.

Its important to remember that Tully was never well liked back in the day. He was always spoken of as a cocky asshole who acted like he was better than everyone. Which is great when youre a heel wrestler..maybe not so great when youre a human being surrounded by your peers. Supposedly went twenty years without speaking to Arn even, and that guy was his closest partner. I love Tully's work in the ring, but I doubt he had alot of friends on the business.

@DecemberGuy77 10 years. They went 10 years without speaking to each other. When Herd screwed Arn over on his contract, Arn blamed Tully.

I think a lot of people forget wrestling was there job.its just a day at work and then theres the next day and it just blends together.ask me about a specific day or person at work 30 years ago and i might remember it and might not.james did very good at carrying this interview.i don't tully is an a hole or disinterested its just his personality.

If you/we didnt know it, you would yhink tully was a jobber with his lack of exponding on questions. Tully, we all know its a show dude, this aint '83, you can answer questions....
