Tumbler Engraving with the xTool M1 RA2 Pro

How to use the xTool M1 and the Rotary Accessory 2 (RA2 pro) to engrave a powder coated tumbler.
This is a great laser accessory and so versatile, but can take a little practice to get it right. Learn everything you need to know from start to finish on how to engrave a stainless steel tumbler.

The blogger explained very professional, very careful, for our manufacturer to produce blank cup very need such equipment and technical guidance to carve it well, our tumbler cup surface is powder coating, suitable for multiple equipment to carve, and the bottom there are gold and rainbow 🌈 color, carved like a luxury❤

I've been using the roller wheels for a while with no problem, but I just got a job request using powder-coated mugs and need to use the rotary. thank you for this!

The rotary tool is too tall to sit inside the machine. You need to raise it on blocks so the laser sits above your tumbler.

Great tutorial; however, the metal business card setting ruined a Yeti I have; I have to use the stainless steel dog tag. Of course, mine says "Metal Card" without the word business; I wouldn't think that makes a difference? Thanks!

Framing question: when I set up my design in XCS, it looks fine proportionally, but when I frame it frames all but the whole tumbler? i double checked my perimeter what I measured and entered is correct

If you use a smaller tapered tumbler how do you get it to level or do you need to?

You will get the best result if it's level. You can tilt the tumbler in the holder so the tapered side is level. The pink one in this video is tapered and it came out great.
