@@harryto4820 I think the joke is saying that bigender people are from Jupiter, like how men are from Mars and women from Venus. And commute means travel distance (had to look that one up since I didn't understand at first either).

@@harryto4820 it's based on an old playground rhyme; "girls go to college to get more knowledge, boys go to jupiter to get more stupider." Bigender people are people who identify as two genders, which is usually boy+girl. The joke is that being both a boy AND a girl, you have to go to both jupiter and college, which is a really far commute

You could understand him on a psychological level better than he knows himself. You could have an entire army of people on your side who know everything you do about him. I have worked so hard to get my fantasy world (which has 18th-early 20th century technology) and its magic systems to to allow living skeletons, so I can have skeleton gangsters and recreate the "rattle 'em, boys!" thing in one of my books.

I had a wizard that carried a crossbow and a club for that exact purpose. They were a Sailor who learned magic by buying secondhand books and sneaking into lectures at every wizard college they passed by while traveling. Their focus on studying magic didn't stop them from being the strongest member of the party in terms of the strength stat. Due to some absurdly lucky stat rolls they were tied for highest strength score with a dragonborn cleric, and due to their sailing background were often the first one to roll up their sleeves and get their hands dirty. It was a really fun vibe because when we got in a bad spot and I was low on slots, I'd occasionally just pivot and go "I shoot them."

Yes, actually. Bugs would continually mess up his tasks in comical ways so that it hurts Sauron or his plans in some way. Eventually, Sauron would get so fed up that he’d take the one ring off Bugs and throw it in the volcano, just to be rid of him. Seconds later, he’d realize what he did.

@@nanardeurlambda In that case, I don’t think he’d actually be able to do much. Bugs’s cartoon antics are generally focused around chaos and making fun of authority and the people trying to assert their authority. Sauron’s ideology is kind of the exact opposite of that. If Bugs were forced into that, I’d imagine his cartoon abilities would stop working.

Even then, I don't know if all his powers are based on his chaos. for one thing, being unkillable could possibly still be a thing, since even orderly characters have this. by contrast, his charisma based abilities (entrancing singing, disguises that fool you no matter their flimsiness, ect...) would probably be gone. I don't what would happen to his ability to materialize whatever he needs from nowhere, but it does sound like a chaotic ability. All this, of course, only applies if the ring turns him lawful evil or even neutral evil. those considerations would not save us if the ring turns him into a gollum-type wild card obsessed in keeping it to himself.

The neck thing is eerily similar to one topic in a "worthless superpowers" conversation I once had. That being: The power owner's neck can, at will, grow by 1 inch. That's it. No shrinking. No going back. As many times as wanted. But there's no freedom from consequences, so... Potential floppy head. Maybe trapped esophagus / trachea. Possible snapped spinal cord depending on how effective the power is and how many times used. Imagine being a mutant and that's all you can do.
