@@gogz1981 Depends on the tune, I think the 500hp/525tq is to the wheels, it sounds more realistic than to the crank. The 45 Amg definitely isn’t making 550 lb-ft of torque, maybe it’s in newton meters. Either way there is a big difference in power

Exactly. Drop the Unitronic and go 034. I knew the BMW was going to win because the Audi would need a ported blower to match a turbo car, but I didn't expect the Audi to be so bad. That time was pretty much stock. It doesn't have 450 ft lbs of torque either.

E30 vs 94 octane was the difference. A dual pulley B8 S4 typically is quicker than a FBO 340i. This is from someone that's owned BMW's S54/N54 and a B8 S4. The S4's on E60 will beat the 340i on a similar custom E60 tune.

@@Tracked350Z yeah would have been nice to see them both with good fueling. But if the tune doesn't take advantage of the additional fueling then it's also not that important. A dual pulley on e60 would be moving for sure. Would love to see what kind of Times they put down.

Most cars on the street have good tuning capabilities the Japanese (JDM) being the first with much more availability of parts followed by the Germans, the Korean brands are not touching those 2 in the tuning segment the B58 engine is more turner friendly than that of that kia and don't forget how good bmw transmissions are

@@TariqG416 it's because a stinger had to be tuned to compete nothing else, we are talking stock for stock and the stinger seems to be one of the most overhyped car i really don't see the hype about it though it's a little quick but for that price I will consider a used c63 from 2012, stock for stock a stinger ain't touching that car

It's not just the b58 to be honest. It's the whole package. A 340i with a tune and do is nowhere as good. But with an upgraded turbo the 340i is wild. No doubt the b58 is strong but I needs the supporting mods to be good as well.

Another channel already raced the M340i vs C43 vs S4. The M340i won a expected. Interestingly though, with launch control allowed, the S4 was quicker then the C43. But when launch control wasn't allowed, the S4 was slower then the C43.
