You also have to remember that an arrow bends 3 times before it ever leaves the bow and I wished my old PSE Vector with Cams had this tuning allen on it but it’s always shot excellent and I appreciate you guys sharing this, thanks for all you do!🙂

Elite is the nicest bow. I shot Hoyt’s for years until Elite started manufacturing bows here where I live in upstate New York. I took 1 shot with an Elite and have been shooting them ever since.

Hi Jeff Or Hannah, Just a tip If you nip off a 3/8 strip of Heat shrink wiring wrap and cover the front edge of the fletch it won't tare off so easy and doesn't effect the flight used them for years like this, I cut off 3-4 hairs and it holds them bad boys very tight I'm still firing a PSE Nova lol.

Hannah, if you heat the bottom insert up that your fixed blade screws into , and turn your fixed blade to align with your fletchings, that helps the flight alot

Did you see how easy she pulled that bow back? Now it's been yrs since i shot a bow. But if the new ones are anything like the old ones, that girl's a beast! Crank that baby on down and get that arrow singing. Those shoulders aren't going to last forever. Enjoy them while you can.... I know Jeff is a little better genetically modified than most fifty yr olds, but time will catch up to him as well. Glad y'all are enjoying life.

Jeff... think about it... ya gotta hold that arrow cube target just a tad lower. Protect what matters. LOL Shoulda taken that plastic garbage can and set it behind the paper and put the cube on top of the garbage can. In any case... nice technology for tuning a bow with training wheels. REAL archery is a stick/string. LOL Old skool baby !!!

Best bows out there imo ..another way to tune them is to bare shaft tune it..strip off the fletching and stand 15 to 20 yds away from the target and shoot a fletched arrow then the bare shaft .if its out of tune the bare shaft will be sticking in at a slight angle compared to the fletched arrow ..

Jeff if you cut 1/2" of heat shrink electrical tubing to the tips of the Fletches around the arrow shaft it`ll make a guard so the fletches don`t pry off AGAIN done mine works great I have a vid on it .

Hay Hanna nice bow. I like the video. I’m sure your bow is shooting pretty straight for setting it up in the field. But shooting it threw the paper on a angle could affect the arrow hole. Also I use a glue called goat tuff for my fletchings. I put a extra dab at the beginning of the feather for extra hold. But I’m sure you will shoot where your aiming with your bow. Just fine tuning is something fun 🤩

Not sure, but you probably never seen a narrow leave a bow in slow motion.when the energy is released on the arrow it is bode into a you or s and wobbling for the first 10 yards like crazy

Your a lucky man i only wish I could have raized my daughters in the real true of the country. Unfortunatllly I only had my daughters in the summer and every other Holidays. That in of itself was bad but not as bad as having to deal wit daughters raized by their mother in south Boston Mass. Not I have to get them used to the outdoors but I had do so while trying to talk like normal people. By the time I got them understanding me the summer was over and I was saying "whatevea and Idear just so I could get them to say Yall and to say that were to a fixn to do something. They both turned out good despite not talkn right

Learning to use the thumb release properly, not hammering the button with your thumb, will help in getting proper arrow flight. Hammering creates torque which can move the string causing the arrow to kick. Learn to pull thru the shot as it was designed to use. Great video again.

Thanks for that information. I been shooting recurve and longbows for years. Just recently used compound bows. Explain a lot about why I noticed this big difference between the bows. Recurve and longbows I shoot instinctual and that explains why I can't shoot a compound without sights. Thanks!

I just take a new target in the woods 20 and 30 yards from my TREE LOUNGE take 2 shots as soon as I get up and adjust till I hit dead center...I don't adjust anymore but I hit exactly where I aim on the deer

paper tuning should be straight shot not aiming down a target to the ground. Or else, of course you ll have a tear... keepon guys
