Great video, my V8 has 2 air filters under each arch

Great video. Liked your diff oil change as well. I'm up for a service in my 2011 XKR in October so i will ensue the specialist Jag place i go to does, air filter , diff oil, steering oil and check/change brake fluid. I've had the gear box oil and filter done in 2022. I only do about 3-4k miles a year , but its good to keep on top of lubes ,belts and filters. Keep them coming. 👍

Had an update from Jaguar, not only was the alternator shot, it also killed an 8 month old battery!! go figure. I pick it up in the morning now, i got my own battery for it half the price they wanted to charge. Be good to see what the diagnosis found stored in teh emc and what the health check says. Enjoyed the video as usual!

Great vid👍. It is a bit fiddly but straightforward. While I was in there I covered all the rubber suspension /steering bushings in protectant (gummi pflege). Gummi is brilliant for softer rubber door seals etc, so whether it helps harder rubber like bushings who knows. Nothing ventured nothing gained as they say😊.

Excellent description, thankyou. The XKR versions have two air filters, one located on the left hand side as the XK and another on the right hand side.

Excellent video,it's great the way you get the camera in and we can see what going on and the way you carmly chat while your working ! Your car looks brilliant,very glossy ! Black colour is very hard to keep looking good and the wheels look immaculate ! Am off to waxstock next weekend hoping to pick up a wheel spinner ,it makes it easyier to clean the wheel once the wheel is off the car ! 👍

Another great video, especially since I have the same car same year here in the USA. I appreciate Jaguar placing the air filter low and away from the hot engine compartment, introducing more dense cool air into the engine for combustion. BTW I’m taking your advice and looking for an XKR back box for my XK. 👍🏻

what size hex head did you use for the panel you have to pull back to get to the air filter?

What annoys me is the amount of exposed wires on modern vehicles is this just penny pinching ? , from growing up watching people doing their own maintenance they would tape over the wiring with electrical insulation tape then use damp start spray to waterproof ! Plus wash everything out before fitting new filters
