On that Honda, I'll bet welding that stack onto the back of his turbine housing was super good for the bearings , seals and just general alignment and balance of the unit. Then it's painted like a BBQ so what do you expect.

Looked at it, it's not welded to the back of the turbo. It's welded to a flange that is bolted to the turbo.

#1 is a dragbike, not a cafe racer. the VT isnt ... half of those damn bikes arent. there's even a street tracker moto guzzi...

Any turbo motor that isnt fuel injected is a waste of money. It will either run way too rich or way too lean but only a split second in the rpms will it be right. And turbos on manual trans is another problem. Build boost and dump 5 or six times just getting up to speed. Most dummies just want to hear the blow off. Boy thats cool.

So you are that guy. Take your manual and run against the same car with an auto and see how that works for u. Now you underpowered civic and mazda girls may have a dif. Story
