​@@noodytuned How do you control your boost? I have boosted m52 with 4port mac and its fcking nightmare... If I set stable boost at 3rd gear its cutting too much on 2nd etc... I know it probably can be set by many hours on dyno and some PID but I have only public road 🙃🙃 0,6b spring and 4port mac with 60mm WG... Any advice?

Hi, yeah I am running a 3 port mac and I'd be lying if I explain how I setup the plumbing because I completely forgot😂. I heard that 4 port is a nightmare to setup sometimes which is why I opted for 3 port. I am not using PID control as far as I remember. I am using the boost correction tables to add and subtract boost when it is within or outside the target range. All in closed loop.

The guage will be delayed at times but she always stays around 11.5s at WOT with the new injectors. Made some adjustments to keep it stable.

Are you able to deactivate vanos on any of these bmw engines that come out with vanos ?

@@keenukoopman3073 Yes you can, but would require you to plug in the ecu and flash it or if you have an aftermarket ecu, you can just switch it off on the map.

What are the pro's and cons of doing that

@@keenukoopman3073 Vanos provides low end torque at certain loads in most cases. I switched it off because I did not want to make to much torque at low rpm on my boosted application due to stock internals. To much torque and boost at low rpm is what breaks stock bottom ends. That's the secret to a relaible "stock" boosted application on these M50/M52 motors.
