Interesting tech. With a bit more engineering could be completely automated, insert "decoder", start and it just mirrors the key. That would be a lot faster and if implemented correctly could record the positions. Also, for usability, you need to create a multi prong reset key to enable quick resetting.

guys don't get this video wrong. this is not for stealing a Mercedes. It is used to get the "mechanical" code of the key and then make 2 normal keys for the Mercedes that you have ALREADY STOLEN without changing the locks. 95% of the Albanian Mercedes have their keys made with this tool! HAHA

to of you complaining about cars being stolen that way. The purpose of this is not getting into the car, a brick will do this job very faster than this device. It is build to remake a key if the owner has lost the key number. Listen to the last sentence . the decoder is read out by a special device which will give you the key-code so that MB is able to provide a spare key.

flyingdoctor99 just for you. There is a small number of cars which had been found after been stolen. They had not any traces of a violent method. The police investigated the inner parts of the lock and detected no signs of violent methods. Professional and "successful" car steeling is not a question of been fast at first. It's a question of being prepared as well. If someone stolen your car, just be sure, on this day may be he had been the second time in your car. Please don't think of any more, that the owners has been involved.

usually car keys can be ordered from a dealer, by vin code. This device will only help when someone has previously changed all locks, in all doors. This will disconnect key number from vin code.

If you have laminated windows, a brick is quite hard to get through.

In Germany its not that easy. If the side windows arent exactly clear it might be illegal to get them laminated. Cause they say that the glass wont let through the required amount of light. A friend of mine had to rip everything off, otherwise the cops wont let him go and the car had to be on a trailer. Its was a transparent foil, not any color in it.

I mean Real laminated windows. Not with some shady sun film or so. Like the wind screen. It's two layers of glass with a clear plastic film between. Ridiculously difficult to break through. Once you're in, most thieves don't need a key.. I'm not a car geek but I'm pretty sure they find their way around hot-wiring the car, no?

Abdullah Rafeeque You cannot hotwire a modern car. There is an immobiliser. What this means is that the car cannot start unless the key it has been paired with is in the ignition. There is a chip in the key that the cars ECU detects. If the chip isn't there, the car won't start.

Its not perfect, but it's not something that is quick to hack/bypass.. it keeps the common thief out

ITS BMOOO its not ment for theft its ment for insurance companies that cover owner in policy for a lost key just to get them in and home thats why they said at end it get put in to a machine to cut a new key then they would get in use the 16 pin conector with computer and program a new key to the car rendering the old key unuseable

Tranxikoritian every modern car has a immobilizer chip in the key. When you start the car the cars ecu reads the chip from the key and if it is ok the car will start. If you use the turbo decoder or any other key that has no chip the car will not start

To all the idiots saying its bit very turbo the entire video was just over 5 minutes he doesn't even insert the device till just over 2 minutes and has the car decoded just after 4 so 2 minutes to DECODE the lock and explain how it works is quite fast To the idiots saying a brick is faster he didn't just pick the lock he decoded it he now has the bidding code to make a duplicate key for. Są serwisy otwierające legalnie auta na licencji i to raczej jest reklama takiej usługi. Ewentualnie daje możliwość zaopatrzenia się w taki dynks. Daje też innym pojęcie ile wartę są zamki nawet dobrych autach czy to sprzed kilku lat czy nawet w najnowszych z keyless otwieranych i uruchamianych w kilka sekund. Takie filmy przedstawiają dokładnie miejsce gdzie mają nas producenci i ubezpieczyciele. To jedna klika a złodzieje to tylko narzędzia takie jak te dekodery czy walizeczki pomniejszone do paczki fajek.

no, TurboDecoder is just to decode the lock and then you be able to make a new blade for the customer.

Where can I get one of these decoders? I have about 6 mercedes in the parking lot down the street and wouldn't you know it? I lost all of their keys. I know I'm a klutz, this would be super helpful to get them opened.

no problem, of course, you can buy one. But remember you have to be a certified locksmith to buy one.
