Hi, very interesting... Tell me can u make a stock Nissan s15 ball bearing turbo more efficient at producing more power earlier and also through the rev range keeping is "stock" looking? Reguards Mark

I'm thinking of running a grx3076r twins scroll in my stock sr20det.im searching for results but I haven't found much review about it. Theres a .78 and .82 A/R to choose , have you run a twin scroll in a sr20? I have heard that twins scroll makes a lot of difference.. and others say make a tiny difference though.

Is there anyway to take a bone stock Garrett TB03 and add a dual ball bearing upgrade? The only BB upgrade for that turbo seema to be the Turbonetics T3/T4 Hybrid.....I dont want the hybrid...I just want the dual bearing set up....it this possible and where can I obtain the parts?

This is my turbo and the compressor wheel is the 73HTA from forced performance, not the 71HTA.

I put a twin scroll holset h1c 18.5cm on my sr20det. it's beyond super laggy as expected. what housing do you think i can run to get faster spool time and still make 400+whp. best option I have seen is the 12cm. thanks man

i'm in the same boat. i got a gtir motor with stock turbo setup. So i'm also looking to make 400+whp with the t2 flange and an external waste gate.

I need help. I have an s14 with a stock sr20det blacktop. I plan on buying the top mount kit gt2871r from enjuku racing i also have 740cc and 550cc injectors , i want to hit atleast 400hp. What would you recommend for me to reach my power goal of 400?

The gt2871r should work for that. Garrett has hp ratings on their site. I think that one is rated at 450 hp

OK... My GT2871r is in need of a rebuild. I'm hearing all positive things re: billet wheel and polishing etc. But, am I better off upgrading the turbine wheel instead (or ? both?). I'm inching closer to pulling and shipping it to you guys....

I would definitely upgrade the turbine wheel. This is my turbo, and I'm extremely happy with it. When you upgrade the turbine wheel you can buy the twin scroll T3 turbine housing.

And this didn't need rebalanced on a VSR after swapping turbines?

+Kapok6 we balance all the rotating components, mark the positions then install the parts and line up our marks. We prefer to do it that way. It can be vsr balanced also, or at least checked on a vsr. The way we do it works best for us.

What do you charge for a cummins HX35 40 highbred, I want to turn my 92 w250 into a tow beast with about 350- 400hp. Or do you suggest something better.

+Levi Padgett I can make one besides the turbine housing, if you did the hybrid it's best to use a 16 or 18 cm turbine housing. I like to do the hx40 supers in the 12 cm or 14 cm. I think they work well, we do build the to 67 mm a lot also.

This turbo cost me $1000 for the 2871r turbo (used), $700 for the compressor wheel upgrade and $300 for the turbine upgrade. Total $2000.

@@thughknower758 I know this video is old... did you ever dyno your car? How much power did it make at what psi? Would you have did a different setup or are you happy with this turbo? Thanks
