Mossberg has it figured out with the red dot footprint cut out of the receiver already. Every other manufacturer is playing catch up now. Having to mount a pic rail, then an adapter plate and then the red dot makes shotguns look hodge podge.

Speed beads and rail mounts, saddle mounts, vent rib mounts. So probably just do what everyone did before that new feature on mossberg to mount your red dot. I wouldn’t run out and spent 5-600 to replace my old 870 express just for that feature

Invest in a fix it sticks set... I went 25 inch lbs on mine, 18 dont seem like it would withstand a shotgun blast. Lol

First thing get rid of the rail and put a sumtoy base on then get rid of the trash realtree camouflage and dip it in mossyoak
