TURKISH Recipe IDEAS In Air Fryer! 😍

First impression to try my new air fryer. Already got new recipes to share with you and adapting Turkish dishes!
In my first experience of cooking and baking in the air fryer I tried potato chips / french fries) of course, baked banana muffins and Turkish borek in the fryer. I also tried simple chicken thigh with veggies, easy pizza with stale bread, savory salty crackers and even Turkish Ramadan pide bread.
I will begin to share the recipes after testing more. Meanwhile would be happy to hear your experience if you are using an air fryer.

Wow Exciting stuff! We got our first air fryer too. Ninja. Few days ago. Just learning how to use it best too. We made cheeses cigar Boreks yesterday. For Ramadan. Baked 4 with a glaze of egg and oil . They were done just lovely 🥰 MaashaaAllaah.. we baked marinaded chicken on the bone and potatoes red pepper, by lining drawer with foil. Was fabulous. today cooked boneless chicken in it and without any paper under it The drawer cleaned so easily. It is warming food far nicer than microwave as chicken doesn’t dry out. Wraps warmed up in a minute. currently I have parsley dehydrating for my experiment. I’m hoping it will be better than freezing it for adding to soups…. We bought paper liners from Amazon and have ordered silicone liners too. I recommend you consider too for easier cooking and cleaning of the drawer sister

If you have to be frugal, or just start with your first apartment in life, this device is certainly a meaningful purchase. I think the clip is good because it shows more than fries and chicken wings. For me, that's rather nothing. I have a high-quality stove and a classic deep fryer that have a better command of every discipline in the kitchen - from fries to börek. But gladly a LIKE for the performance.

Thank you Hans for an honest comment and your like 😊 you’ve got a good point which I agree. Nothing beats high quality oven and stove of course. I would prefer to have my oven in gas but we don’t have anymore. And thinking about reducing an electric this gadget might be useful in some recipes and might still work in some others. I couldn’t resist when so many people uses it so wanted to give it a try to see what I can come up with 😊

@@TFT I think that can be a useful product for a lot of people. For example, I have a small grill for toasts that uses much less energy than the big oven. It simply depends on the circumstances. As a student in my 28 sqm apartment, I would certainly have bought it.❤❤

I just recently got an air fryer myself and am surprised and delighted at the results to date (I usually avoid “gimmicky” kitchen tools) I have made your Ramadan pide three times in the past year and would love to know your timings for baking it in the air fryer. I am assuming you bake in two batches…will wait and see !! 😍

Hi sweetheart I’m getting mine soon too, i heard great reviews of air frying trying to cut down fats . I only use olive oil and I love eating a lot of vegetables no starches.

Merhaba Aysenur! I’m so excited that you are doing an air fryer series. My air fryer does not have a bake feature, only AF, roast and reheat. I would have to experiment with the baked goods. I’d be interested in seeing air fryer fish meals.

I have a Philips air fryer, manual not digital, and I dont worry about cook settings.

If you can adjust the temperature on the air fryer, you can bake too, lowering the temperature

Salam alakum sister, I started using the air fryer directly on the grid. It really made a difference. I used to use aluminium foil under the food it it cooked unevenly. 🙏🙏💜💜🇹🇷🇹🇷💜💜

Would love the chicken dish recipe, and the Turkish pizza. We use our air fryer for everything except baked items. I find the oven is more even baking.

This brand of air fryer doesn't have a heat source from the bottom so baked breads won't be cooked /browned well. Cosori Dual Blaze is the air fryer which heat source on the top and bottom. As do the rotating basket and mini oven type of air fryer

Flat bread pizzas in the air fryer. Only a few minutes and you're done.

Here are some tips: Do NOT preheat your air fryer, it wastes electricity and most of the heat escapes when you remove the basket. Start cooking food service side down and turn over halfway through. Try lower temperatures. 160C-180C. Hope this helps.

@@TFTcuts of meat like chicken breast/thighs/legs. Lamb chops/kofte. A full chicken, I will cook upright the same way as I would in an oven. Foods like tomatoes, I’ll cut them in half. Place in the basket flesh side up and drizzle with olive oil and season. They come out absolutely delicious. For chips, don’t overcrowd the basket and shake half way.
