Here's a super easy method for how you can transform the simplest of chords, into something with much more flavour and colour. It's really easy and requires almost no theory knowledge. You only need to be able to visualise the major scale in one position to pull this off! :)

Hey, first off I just want to say you are the GOAT when it comes to teaching, you have shaped the way I play, and given me some understanding of theory around what I'm playing, (you and Paul David's), just wondering if you use any footswitch with bias fx? And if so what ones, also would love you to do some neo-soul guitar lessons at some point (if your into that sort of thing). Keep up the good work 🤙 chur from NZ

Hey Darryl!! I've just started out with guitar. I wanted to know what Amp do you use and what settings is it on? Also, I'm learning on an acoustic right now but plan to move on to an electric. So what is a good place to start at/learn? Please and thank you!

I don’t use an amp. Watch more of my vids and you’ll find out what I use and why 😉 A good place to start must reflect your interests. Songs? General understanding of the instrument? If it’s the latter, check out my online school if you want structure to your journey. www.getfretwise.com 👌

@@DarrylSyms Honestly speaking, I love both! Songs (or licks or riffs) are something that I surely wanna play. But understanding the instrument seems essential to me as well. Because if I wanna write something, what better way than to know the instrument first? Also, I'd surely be checking out your course, it surely seems interesting!!
