I went to Church on the Rock in Texas for several years. I had counseling as a young woman with our male associate male pastor. He left his door wide open. We never had closed door meetings. When we ever had counseling sessions if his wife ever called in the middle of our sessions, and it was rare, he always answered her calls. He was such a Godly example in my life.

So right, the truth will set us free. A minister sexually molested me when I was either 8 or 9 yrs old. I do not remember exactly. And my family got mad at me when I exposed him. Now I am a baby boomer and all those so called christians and family members still do not talk to me. Sorry for his passing but glad he apologized to me before he died. And I ask God to forgive me for having animosity against this preacher and everyone I thought loved me.

I love your videos because some how it brings comfort to me that kids are getting help. It's so much easier than it was when I was a kid. In 1965 at age 10 I was raped twice at a YMCA summer camp by my cabin counselor. He was somewhere between 18 and twenty. I had no place to go for help or anyone to talk to. In fact, I didnt even really comprehend what had just happened to me. I could go to the camp nurse but I was too embarrassed to have to show her my rear end. Or, I could go to the head camp counselor , but what would I say to him? He would probably pat me on my head and send me on my way. So I kept quiet. A few times over the last 10 years I have been tempted to contact the YMCA to see if they had any records from 1965 but I knew that it would be futile. I wonder how many other kids he has raped over the years. So it's part of me till I die. I know it's a cliche, but I lost my innocence that day in July of 1965. I surpassed what happened until one day in 2001. It was another low point in my life. I could have sought help but felt it was better to suffer alone. So when I hear of children being victimized sexually, physically, tracketing, or emotionally I almost go into a deep rage. Last year I finally told some one and this post is my first public statement of what happened. There must be a way to slow down stop what's happening to our youth!
