I've said the same thing for years...just because someone declares themselves to be a pastor doesn't mean that person was called by the Heavenly Father. Many pastors are self ordained, family ordained or selected to be a pastor. The Bible states you will know a person by their fruits. There is much heresy in the church. In many churches the Lord is not present.

Someone very close to me dated a pastor for years and he had a girlfriend. When she came to visit my friend would sleep in the living room posing as a roommate. That was over 10 years ago. Now the pastor and that woman are married with children. This is very common, clearly.

My ex husband was a minister and did the same thing. Was preaching about men cheating on their wives and was the main one hooking up with women the same day he preached. He does need to sit down because spirits are real and they will transfer. Why continue to preach and you know you're not living right. I'm not saying stop going to church, but at least get yourself together and repent until you know you're delivered because you can't preach or pray for the deliverance of someone if you're not delivered. The bible says, "Warning comes before destruction." God will give you a certain amount of time to repent and get your act together before he exposes you. Yes, none of us are perfect, but this is where the Holy Spirit steps in. We're far from perfect and working towards perfection. When you're truly saved and walking with God there is going to be a change in you. Change doesn't happen over night, it may take a couple of years, but there should be a change. But after while if you find yourself making the same mistakes and doing the same foolishness, you need to be honest with God and yourself and go back to the alter or in prayer and ask God for deliverance from that stronghold you're rasling with because you don't have to stay in your predicament. You can truly be delivered. People stay in sin and don't change because they truly don't want to change or give up their sins. You can fool people, you can continue to fool yourself, but you can't fool God. When we stand before God one day, do you think he is going to permit us into heaven because we told him we try to stop our sins or tried to live right? No! He is going to tell us to depart from me you worker of iniquity. Repent now. Time is at hand. Stop playing church because God is soon to return and he is coming back for a church without spot or wrinkle and not for a church who tried to stop sinning.

I stop going to church awhile ago when. I found out the secretary's son was the pastor's and so was the treasurer's...while the " mother" of the church sat proudly. Sickening. That's what he gets. People stop listening to these false prophets.

I'm retired and In my lifetime if been letdown and taken advantage of more in the Church than outside of the Church. I've seen Pastors and other members of the Church break up marriages of myself and others. I've seen my Pastor in a Casino with a married woman in the congregation. I believe in a higher power but I gave up on the Church 20 yrs ago when I realized the only thing that matters to them is what's in your wallet.
