You shouldn't need a restriction on journal bearing turbo. Check the size of your oil return fitting it may be too small. To flow correctly they should be around 15mm inside diameter. I'm having same issue with my turbo atm as well

you can get it to sit at 14:7:1 at idle and around stoich when it isn't under any load or on boost and it will be better on fuel :)

This is awesome, i have a 4g15t in my lil colt and it makes 315whp, i have 650cc injectors, noce lil turbskie, 6boost mainfold, dw300c fuel pump in tank and it spins 2nd and 3rd through 120kmh lol, im doing a 4g18 short block with a 15t head stroker setup soon for it hoping to make 500whp 😅 i have a quaife ATB diff and it made the world of difference!

Bro it sounds so freaking good haha. Did you retard the timing at all or is it still stock? Also you shouldn't need an oil restrictor if its journal bearing, your drain might be backing up (not big enough or kinked) or you might just have a lot of blow-by in which case make sure you have a decent catch can setup and you should be right. Just check your PCV valve isn't stuck either, and give it a good clean or buy a new one.
