What I like about this scene is how Rodan became the tactician of the fight. First he tells Mothra to let go of Ghidorah's tail and start spitting, then he's like better yet hop on chief lets do this.

I'm a huge G-Fan, but I not big into this movie. Although, this is one of the greatest moments of the entire Godzilla canon. The villains, Godzilla & Rodan, put aside their grievances to fight with the heroic Mothra to stop the greater enemy in King Ghidorah. It changed Godzilla's character forever, for the better. This is still awesome & incredible in 2022, but it must've been a revelation to audiences in '65.

I remember watching this when I was 7. My friends at school kept talking about Godzilla so I checked it out. Given I was living in Bangladesh at the time, we had only one video rental store. I went in & asked if they had any Godzilla movies. They gave me Godzilla 1985, & Alien Monsters which I later realized was Ghidorah The Three Headed Monster. I honestly thought it was the greatest thing I’d ever seen. A giant fire breathing Tyrannosaurus rex, a pterosaur, & a larvae vs a three headed space dragon that shot lightning from each of its mouths. Sure the fights were silly, but it got me to sketching out my own versions of what a less goofy version would look like. The Showa era films were awesome.

GHIDORAH, THE THREE-HEADED MONSTER. Was my 1st ever godzilla movie on VHS. It hold's a strong memory for my life. I love this movie still and remains in my Top 15 Best Godzilla movies.

I'm a huge Godzilla fan and i like this movie and like, Ghidorah's first roar actually surprised me on how... unsimilar it was and it was weird until i discovered that Ghidorah is an alien originating from Venus, it made sense, Ghidorah is honestly a great addition to the Godzilla Series in 1964 - 2019.

Godzilla is my favorite, but he had me rollin in this battle. The beginning when he was stomping the ground waving his arms, then when he fell at the 48 second mark, the below the belt shot, him on the ground roaring, and him getting shot in the butt. I could feel his frustration fighting Ghidorah. I still love it though.
