Quin and Ricky, when you cut the subframe, you already have the piece you need to weld back in your hand... Just flip the part you cut out into the open space. It's almost always a good fit to weld in. 💪 The gold on that blue is pimp juice all the way shuun! 🏆

@@TONYKG300 this could be true, but the metal he cut out was thick enough and adequate since it came from the subframe to begin with. All that was needed was to box the sides.

I believe they cut it again so the part was then to small. However, if done in one cut it is a great way to do it.

I have been enjoying this build a lot more than I ever thought. The guy who works in the shop where I park for work has a 300z twin turbo that’s super clean and I have been sharing the progress of this build with him as he’s not big online. He approves and enjoys it!

Appreciate the build. Its a shame the VG30 wasnt kept and built in the style from the @bully_built channel as a 2024 VG is built. I feel like this would have also mustered far more support from the Z32 enthusiast community as well!

It looks sooooo good! Great job with the MDF panels too...I remember that spray glue...hopefully Mickey the Headache from the glue fumes wasn't too bad...but those panels transform the back. That engine was a great choice as well.

You gotta wrap the dash and door cards in Alcantara now after the gage cluster went in its all gotta match plus the rear sides the vinyl is all peeling up. All black Alcantara interior is going to look so sick. No star light head liner either lol

E36 steering rack and a rear oil sump would have been a nice way to avoid modifying the subframe.

That Mickey guy is THE car ninja. Tee 2 guys quin and rick are busting there asses off doing all the hard work. And this Mickey guy comes in, does a bracket, or something easy and chill to work on. And then when they are "presenting" the car. He is the first guy to say: We worked so hard, we did this, and we did that....... And it seems like it is like this every single time.....

Watch more. Mickey is a legend! And with growth he absolutely is doing his job just not so much in the camera. Quinn kinda filled that hole for us. And he’s doing a great job too. Ricky is well ahhh, Ricky. So I think being in the action in this way is his style and we like that. Go deep and you’ll see all the hard work Mickey has already put in.

I got the exact same clutch master cylinder for my car.. Ended up having to pull it back out to bench bleed it to get fluid to start going through it at first. just a heads up.

I agree with the way you guys cut the sub frame at first but now thinking about it will it get in the way if you needed to remove the oil pan? Or do you have enough room to fit a tool to remove it?

Wouldn't you want to cut the subframe all the way down that way you can take the oil pan off without having to pull the engine off its mounts to get to the back bolts?
