A very nice build overall. Now for some feedback: 0:29 - Why is this step ending halfway at the main door? If a prepackaged solution does not work for this van, why use it? This step should go all the way down that large main door, not 1/3 of the way. See how Humble Road makes their own aluminum running boards. VanCo is making a subpar product. Your foot will slip into that hole and twist. 1:52 - The TV cables are showing in cabinet. A cover or wire loom would be nice. Not sure why the main tank hot water and cold water cannot be run directly to the faucet in sink? Why add extra cold water only tanks? This takes up cabinet space and is a bother to fill up. Most of your water supply is needed in the kitchen not for showers outdoors. The toilet is in a smart spot. Plenty of air circulation, and you can lift the bench lid as a privacy screen as you step into the bench. Good idea. The garage is very nice and roomy. Good layout with electrical one side and plumbing the other side. Not sure why you installed two hatches instead of magnetizing two large wood panels for easy removal and 100% open viewing area. Ditto for plumbing. Use acrylic panels to view what is going on and magnets so you just pull to have wide open access. Thanks for the tour, Patrick, Steve!

Thank you very much for the feedback. This was built out about eight months ago and filmed at that same time. I know there have been some updates and upgrades that Steve has done since he’s now an RVIA certified manufacturer. I do love the running boards that George from Humble Road makes they are quite large and sturdy.

I thought the same thing about the water and also, if you had a camera where the water is stored then you wouldn’t have to go to the back of the van to see your water levels. I think there are also apps for solar panels to see what you have stored. Not sure how you match the panels with the app but I’m sure that could be worked out. I don’t think anyone other than a small child could use the toilet inside that bench. I think it would have to come out to use and I assume you would use it on top of the bench.

The people that are looking to build their own vans, watch the pro builds to get ideas. We hope you reconsider and learn something from some of these videos.

@@nomadrvs No please don't get 'good looking ladies'. Women's bodies and looks should not sell anything. Enough stereotypes and overuse of women's bodies for sales. A man is just fine. Put a man in a bikini and see how offensive that is to other men. Ditto for women. I think Bobbyj3701 made a good point but it was probably misunderstood. It is never a good idea for the builder to demo their own products. They know the product too well and lose objectivity. A sales person or any other person should demo it. You would get a fresh perspective of the van. Steve tends to be a bit dismissive in his demo. I felt it too. Do you think Leonardo da Vinci would explain his paintings well? No. Leave that to an art critic or docent to explain it.

Dude what are talking about, he is chill, composed, and will not explain the crap out of your brains with the tiniest details like most people do. If he is my salesman, im buying. I love his no "bullsh*t" approach
