Ive one done better than the previous fortress I built. Sadly this one is pretty much just a meme since its never really going to be used in multiplayer since it uses the Stellarborn stuff. Its still cool to look at though, and maybe next time ill turn a regular ringworld system into something similar

Woah Hi, wasn't expecting to see you here. Ill be honest I am somewhat ignorant in the end game stuff in ACOT due to the fact that the game usually becomes unplayable long before I open the gates due to lag in the latest version of stellaris.

@@chadsworthgigaII it's one of 3 great enemies that spawn at the far later stages of the game. Each is good at different things, ALL are apocalyptic like the Reapers from Mass Effect. they are hostile to EVERYTHING and depending on your difficulty, can spawn 2-3M fleet strength in the unmodded game.

@@Shinzon23 As big as they are this is literally the size of a solar system. The only thing I know of in 40k that even comes close is commoragh and its questionable given commoragh is an amalgamation of worlds and realms while this is an entire solar system.

@@declanedmison5442 Unlikely. We dont see much in the way of Human megastructures in 40K. The Rings of Iron arent that impressive by comparison to many other megasturctures both in 40K and other universes. The Gate systems from The Expanse are more impressive just in terms of sheer scale. Many of the megastructures in Star Wars are as well. Sure moon-sized battlestations are fairly impressive but they arent that big. Orion's Arm has some fairly batshit insane stuff as does Traveller. Some of the SCP Canons have some crazy shit to. Gigastructural Engineering and ACOT are babyshit compared to the stuff in Orion's Arm honestly. Point is basically, 40K aint all its cracked up to be. Its not as crazy as people make it out to be. Its just presented that way which is rather hilarious if you are an outsider who knows a lot about other universes. Also Halo has some insane shit to. Mostly Precursor stuff.

One of the ships of the stellarborne is enough to defeat all of them at the same time with X25 crysis. They can have so much hull and shields that they make an integer overflow making them become negative, thus disappearing.

@@mxcherryblue5943 it’s more the fact that the Helios-Class ship that the Stellarborne have, has a system-ranged Worldcracker, that only takes 3 days to fire that’s the issue. That being said - the utterly insane number of strike corvettes this system would have might be able to stop it

Each one of those guns would be the size of a continent on Earth. Each segment of the super fortress could probably house a billion soldiers. Imagine the logistics required to man and operate such a behemoth. There's probably entire ringworld segments worth of farmland buried deep within the super fortress. Entire generations, entire civilizations of people could live and die within its bulk, each a single tiny gear in this incredible machine.

@@Voron_Aggrav you have to warp/jump in after they’ve entered. I found out the hard way when I instantly lost 3 Stellar Systemcraft and 5 Hercules alongside millions of FP worth of Precursor vessels. Fighting them without doing any Blokkat research is normally a deathtrap too. So skirmishing against the scouts before taking on the disassembler fleets is the way to do it

Magog World Ship comes to mind first actually; Commoragh isn't a single contiguous structure, even in the Webway, as entire chunks of it as large as solar systems can be separated by Webway Portals and although seemingly "right next door" in Webway space, the different realms connected could be and are separated by interstellar distances in real space. That's the fun thing with the Webway; a single step through a portal in Commoragh and your at your destination, but you actually just stepped hundreds to thousands of light years in the blink of a eye.

@@Shinzon23 Yes commoragh mostly came to mind due too the grafhical clitches which caused the yottastructure(I'm pretty sure this is the right classification for this monstrosity) to writhe and turn within itself. That and you probanly need to build gateways in that thing for logistics sake since it is in theory(stellaris system scale isn't even close too accurate so sorry) several lightyears wide.

Maginot is an interesting choice of words. It was used in Halo as a translation for the super defense line the Forerunners used to keep out the Flood, but it was translated to that name by Forerunner A.I. to convey to the humans that like the Maginot Line in their own history, it was impressive but ultimately useless in stopping invasion.

Considering all ships are many times bigger than they actually are, this is trully an Abosolute Unit. On the side note, do you by any chance use some defines owerflow fix? If yes, can i have a link? :D

ACOT has some stuff to stop overflow and we are also using a mod which reduces fleet power by like 10x but I dont have any mods that fix overflow for things like hull as far as I know. The entire modlist is in the description

@@demonicplayz yeah, it is sad. Even with ACOT’s own Define fix - I can’t use a fully kitted out Hercules (fun fact, nano armour on that is better than anything else because of the +% stats) because as soon as it spawns it dies.

Now...THIS reminds me somewhat of ARMAGEDDON INHERITANCE from David Weber's MUTINEER'S MOON series. The 3rd Empire (formerly Imperium) in eventual preparation for the return of the Achuultani had made the Birhat system in it's entirety a truly MASSIVE fortress. Layers & layers of defense. Countless thousands of orbital weapons platforms just for starters...all topped by a shield system with an uninterrupted radius of several AU. In this universe the typical ships were planetoids...many AT LEAST the size of Earth's moon. If the hull numbering system by the time of Dahak (50k yrs before modern era) they had literally THOUSANDS. By the modern era the Empire had TENS of thousands. The Imperium//Empire wasn't fucking around...

@@amdar2106 :) Really too bad. I'd love to see the series (my copies are falling apart) continued. See the cycle of the Achuultani (sp) cleansing (a poor word to describe the scale of the genocide they have committed over the eons) come to a permanent end. Have read Heirs of Empire several times so when the SAFEHOLD series came about I noticed quite a few parallels. Imagine this! Dahak & ilk to command the Stars...then Keith Laumer's Bolo's joining them to command the worlds around them? A single Plantoid (on the scale of things) can defend an entire star system just as well as a Mk XXX Bolo can a planet. Though some of my favorites are low-mid 20s...David Weber has co-written in THAT world...Bolo Unit SONNY driving the enemy before him with Ride of the Valkyries screaming was a ball (pun intended given the scene). My 2 favorite sentient AI types in literature. That kind of combination would mean doom to whoever was on the other side.

i used to do use command to like "roleplay" being some kind of ancient super power empire. I forgot what I use, but it was a technology that the phone use. "I invade their base" and kill the army that comes out of their portal after research. got the tech and built a super massive base, with cannons and everything in the entire solar system. every border of my empire uses that planetary fortress in ur video. with asteroid cannon here and there with troops equal to billions power. had a dragon clone patrolling left and right. It was quite fun to do once in a while.

I fantascized about sci fi stuff and tought about a ship called Legacy, which is so big it is visible from any point of the observable universe to the naked eye. The point is to auto capitulate any and all races in the universe as noone will be able to replicate it before drawing attention from it. There are several smaller ships that tow entire galaxies to it as a fuel source.

Arguably, something of that size would just collapse on itself. The mass that a structure of this size holds would be too big. Without a doubt, all of its citizens would be crushed by the gravity. Secondly, you'd have to completely strip entire systems of all applicable elements to build this thing. This is such a meme.

it's big but not the biggest megastructure I've seen, at some point I had bugged out a frameworld and it basically became 200x larger, I had to use mods to zoom out enough, even o-class stellar systemcrafts were miniscule compared to the size of the megastructure

@Wapo i would like to ask? Can you build a void sphere or throne of the immaculate on other systems without using the species origin? How did u get an stellarborne juggernaut because i already have the ACOT, Beyond The Gate, Megastructure 3.3 & more but my juggernaut ships looks like a regular avian juggernau. What mod did u have to get that?

Its been a long time since I actually played that late game, so im not 100% positive anymore. I dont believe there is a way to get the actual juggernauts unless you pick the stellarborn as an origin. If there is a way, you probably have to earn the designs during the tournament with the stellarborn at the end of the game.
