Turning My OMEGA No Time To Die Watch Into a BOND Gadget!

A simple addition of an EMP Q Branch issued device turns my ordinary OMEGA No Time To Die Watch into a Bond gadget, or does it? Props used in the movie that create movie magic are often the simplest of pieces, so what happens when a fellow Bond fan ( @bondgadgetwatches on Instagram) makes me some "optional extras" for my personal watch? Will it be mayhem or a fun transformation into a replica of the Q gadget seen in the movie? The result will "blow your mind"!

The EMP is the biggest plot hole in the movie…..it would have rendered the ‘smart blood’ useless….thus no reason to die.

I don't think that's how magnets work. In my humble opinion, one of the only actually viable ways to reverse smart blood effect is to engineer an other "smart blood" type that's injected into Bond's blood that could "theoretically" kill those nano bots.

@@timinginstruments agree it could be the case but it could of course fried his ear piece as well. The 3rd act was appalling, suddenly Safan was selling to buyers without any real explanation. It also struck me that for the first time ever Bond had something to live for. I once described the ending as a recording artist telling a listener what the song is about. A song means so much more, in a personal level when it is not explained. I still think it is easily recoverable….just open the next movie with the line, “I thought you had died”. Or do an Only live twice style movie.

Nice work! Could you also introduce the tool set as I would like to set up my own display for it. I only saw it briefly in pictures from the Omega Museum.

The "best gadget" to put on a watch is to add a NFC Chip (it cost a few bucks and does lots of tuto on KZfaq) to make wireless payments... ...it could be very useful for Mr BOND when he's on the beach ! 😁

I'm glad the other piece was for display only and not going near your watch! I'm very careful keeping all my automatic watches away from magnetic fields, even my Seamaster with its silicon main spring.

Look at how beautiful, bright and legible the dial is at 1:25 and looked at how dark and muted it is at 4:50 - in real life - even though it is under bright camera lights. I returned my Omega NTTD because of that. It's too dark, you can't read that thing under most lights

I’ve never fallen in love with an object the way I did / have with my NTTD Omega. Don’t know what you’re talking about, it’s stunning.
