About Paranormal Stuff: - Shanice is more sleepy because doing rituals and ceremonies on the table consumes energy - When you finish the job, it's a good idea to remain in the lot and put back the candles in the inventory, so you can use them again in another lot. - Temperance hates the weird idol. Keep one in your inventory to use it in lots. Johnny Depp has one - Specters give you things when you offer your soul (or homemade gifts). Pay attention if they drop something 😁

I actually wish we could catch and keep specters as pets or something like the goats or even as a familiar if you're a spellcaster. Those things are so cute.

I did this with my ranch, an old west haunted town should have been in this pack..it could have been a great place for a sim to watch reenactments of the old west. Or even be a career as one of the actors. At least 1 lot in every world i own is haunted. Judith Ward's house is the one I picked for that world. You need to make food/paintings/candles or anything you crafted to give to ghosts, not your soul. And the strange idol needs to go into your inventory to run Temperance off, or summon Bonehilda to beat her up.

You can just talk to the green ghosts and they will leave. But the best way is to just make something (I bake cookies or brownies) and give it to the ghost. If you make something that has portions you have to pick up all portions separately, when you don't do that they will reject your gift.

Hi Satch! There is a way to turn back the age of your sims with the Horse Ranch pack if I remember correctly. If you befriend the Mysterious Rancher, he can teach you a recipe for Vitality Nectar. The more you age it the more the time goes back, and it can be used to bring ghosts back to life. 🙃

Instead of constantly offering her soul, you just need to make jams or breadsticks or cake or something and pick up a bunch of individual servings before going to work so you can offer baked goods 🤣 Edit: you can also give the offerings to the angry red ghosts. And the sad blue ones will be more likely to leave with a gift than just asking them to go…

Since the ranch world is already a ghost town with nobody there, making the ranch haunted seems like a splendid idea!

I'm going to run with the headcanon that this is all the result of Shanice Shanice's various deaths that have happened throughout this let's play. She's died so much that she's possessed both the entire world and even the save file.

Little Ms Sam has a mod that resets plants to blossoming or mature every 5 sim minutes. This mostly solves the problem for me unless there are tons of plants on the lot. For resetting age, there are a lot of ways, but potion of youth is the easiest because you are in a haunted house. You gain satisfaction every night you stay there. The only easier way is to become a spell caster and make potions of regeneration and duplicate them with duplicato. It's only easier after you get all the spell caster exp you need to do that. Sacrifice sims to the cow plant and milk it, but non-household sims won't eat the cake twice. Flower arranging max level there's a scent that allows resetting every 24 sim hours. The mother plant in strangerville with high friendship will give gifts of life extension. Wishing well, but that is so inconsistent. Nectar making, but that requires death flowers and doesn't completely reset your age.

You could become a spellcaster to copypasto the Potion of Youth. Copypasto Spelll spell you can get pretty much right away. There's a Rejuvenation Potion but you'd need a lot of XP. There's also a cloning machine with the Scientist Career but I don't know what level.

You could make her a spellcaster. There’s a potion of immortality that stops a sim from dying of old age, as well as a potion of rejuvenation that resets a Sim’s age. I don’t think you need to be high level either, you just have to keep asking the teachers to teach you a potion recipe. Normally you can only ask for one from each teacher per day, but I believe if you duel with them you’ll get the option again regardless of whether you win or lose

For the Plants reverting to dirt piles, the best way I've found to fix it is to go into build mode and delete them all and then hit undo. when they come back they should be plants again

spellcaster potions could be an option! there's an age rewinding potion, a prompt resurrection potion (when they die they immediately reanimate) and a potion of immortality (if you wanted her to chill living forever as an elder), you might be able to purchase them from the stores (or just debug) without becoming a spellcaster

you can make crafted items to offer instead of your soul, if you make the ghosts happy with gifts they like sometimes they will give you soul scrap that can give you sims more days on their life

Little Miss Sam has a mod to fix the gardening issues. I highly recommend using it!

The thing about getting exhausted while in the paranormal investigator career is that doing seances and related interactions actually _drains your energy_ :c

Grim being scarred ? That's... special. Maybe having FOUR active fears is a little to much for a Sim wanting to get the brave trait... How to rejuvenate a Sim ? Have a spell caster learn the recipe for the potion of youth and brew a few. Best way is to have that Sim complete the potion brewing aspiration. There is also a potion of immortality and one of instant resurrection. How about a nectar of vitality ? Trick : Brew a potion, cast Repario on it : It's now of the highest quality. Then, cast Copypasto on the excellent potion to get as many as you care to have. Repairio cast at ANYTHING that a Sim made will improve it's quality to the highest quality possible.

This was SO much fun to experience with you. Yes please continue. You can lower age by making ambrosia or the age-away serum (which could add to the haunted play by adding mad scientist to it).

Yes! For everything we ask for from the past, its like they give us the image but not the actual item. That is not Bonehilda. Paranormal was my absolute favorite pack until they broke it. Then all my favorite saves don't work with Paranormal. When you have the creepy doll in the room you must leave the room so the scared moodlet goes away then do the doll before it comes back. Also you want to keep one of the creepy doll rewards in your inventory because when the sim is scared they can talk to the reward doll and it alieves it. You can just get a glass of water to give the ghosts. One of the rewards when you make the ghosts happy fixes the aging "replenishing" her soul so you really want to make the ghosts happy for those rewards. That "cute" little statue keeps the mean girl ghost away. Always get rid of the creepy dolls first because they make you too scared to do the job sometimes. You can actually give the ghosts dirty dishes to give them a gift and make them happy. The candy from the jar will fill your energy. So you need to stock up on things to give the ghosts. Usually its just food. Sometimes other things work, but usually its food. Then you get gifts or rewards from them and those things are very useful. If your sim gets too tired while on a job, eat some candy. If they get too scared talk to the reward creepy doll. If she starts getting too old use the soul piece. I can't remember all the other ones, but you might be able to offer the rewards to the ghosts as well, I can't remember. OH! There is a mod by LittleMissSam that fixes the garden from turning into dirt piles. But you were able to complete jobs! Maybe they actually fixed it now? Maybe I'll try again. Because even having everything done, it just wouldn't complete. Sometimes it would say the job was complete and then it didn't give me money or reward and my sim just stayed on the lot as though the job was ongoing. I started new saves, I did everything they said to do and the jobs just wouldn't complete. Last time I made a "Velma" sim and I really liked her, but wouldn't work. Maybe I'll try again, I don't know.

make some stuff - food, candles, paintings etyc - keep it in your inventory - you can give that to the specters. I have had good success with party size mac & cheese

If you give her Ambrosia it'll reset her age. I think there are a few things with knitting that help. Or you can get life essence from sacrificing other sims to a cowplant ( They must be actually eaten)

If you want to add more days to your sim's age, eat soul scraps. I believe you can get them as a reward when you complete a paranormal investigator gig or something. Or you might be able to get them from Guidry, but I'm not sure.

if you let your investigator be a spell caster she will have an option to make a potion for the aging ... plus you get a career bonus.

You can reset her age with the same nectar you can bring Sims to life.

Nope! I will not blame you for that fire. That lot has a bug that 100% will start a fire if you load into it for more than 30 seconds and the grill is there.

Oh, and also... you need at least one of those bizarre idols to make Temperance go away... if she starts to make you too scared or makes the haunted level of the house (or paranormal investigator gig?) too high. Also, if you think the pack is too easy, Satch, there's a hand item in build/buy that will let you turn on hard mode. lol I've never tried it before. I just remembered something else too... You'll get aspiration points every night you survive in a haunted house residential, so that's at least some of your previously many aspiration points. EDIT: One more thing I remember hearing about is that portable beds such as the Cordian Cot, sleeping bags, tents, and inflatable mattresses can be useful for paranormal investigator gigs, but it may be less of a need once you have the surprisingly inexpensive Always Welcome reward trait.

I think all the occults except mermaids can be immortal. I think. And I feel like the wellness skill can make you immortal too. And I hate to point out the obvious, but you could make vitality nectar. It only gives you a day or two, I had my sim drink it every day for like 4 days so he wouldn’t die on his daughters birthday 😂 But honestly the reward potion is probably the best way.

You said Johnny Depp instead of Guildry . Didn't notice that before but I see it. LOL The tiny animals are just dirty and need a brush. Is it vitality nectar that lowers age? One of the nectars does lower age it's how Robert Crinkle Top is staying at his age. If you have a hay feeder out and full some of it spills on the ground and the small animals can eat the hay or the prairie grass that is growing. The plant falling to dirt piles is an on going glitch of 3 years. In sims 3 they never fixed the problem. Using the hammer to delete them and then undo puts them back for me however it didn't when I had "Seasons". I actually got EA to remove Season from my game. Very fun video ♥

You can appease the specters with sim-made things like food (full servings but individual plates work too), paintings, potions from realm of magic, etc if you don't want to keep giving up piece of your sim's soul. It does have a chance to fail tho, the soul option doesn't seem to have that failure chance

Hi I have just realised your were asking how to extend the age of your sims. To increase your her life spam you would need to create a nector that uses a death flower. I do not know which nectar she will need to create in the ranch you would need to do some research. The nector brings a sims back from the dead and it can extend her life.
