In a normal circumstance yes Rudy is expecting a child and must stay, and Paul entrusted the care of his sisters to him. But Ariel wont set out for another 2 years so she's allowed Sylphy to stay and have her child, Zanoba has sworn to be there for his family in his absence, Linia and Pursena are still under Rudy's pack so they're also there to protect his family. Norn and Aisha are there to watch over the homestead and most importantly Syphie herself has given her consent to him to leave and she herself is concerned about the letter. So suddenly it's not a normal circumstance where its absolute a father must be present suddenly it becomes a reasonable option to go to their aid. But again- Mangod says no, but everyone else says yes. Also to note, this is the first time Rudy will be going against the Mangods instructions.

I actually think it's fine to know the title card for Turn Point 3. Or turning points in general and here is why? In books and in the Light Novel the title comes first. We all know it's a turning point when we flip the page. And then we start to panic desperately. So I really see it the same way. Half the fun is wondering how and or when something is going to go down etc. Your on edge the whole time. That said it's still fine to avoid titles if you want and I definitely think skipping the opening is wise etc.

Her and the princess likely get along swimmingly. Elinalise is a lascivious elf who's bedded tens of thousands of men, while Ariel is at the top of the pyramid of Asuran noble culture where Rudeus would be laughed off as too vanilla...

The society is medieval, so children essentially inherit the jobs of their parents. Aisha serving Rudeus is what she had been raised to do from birth and him rescuing her got her to accept this path. Rudeus was expected to become an Asuran knight, either in Buena when Paul retired or in the capital as a mage knight. Paul was expected to be the Notos head, but that education got derailed by the time he turned 10. I don't think much expectation was placed on Norn before TP1, but she was definitely daddy's girl. Cliff is expected to join the clergy. Zanoba's a Blessed Child, so he's more of a strategic asset than a child of his family. Linia and Pursena are expected to become chiefs of their tribes. etc. etc. Rudeus is currently a student, but should he graduate, he'd automatically get rank D in the Magic Guild, so graduation from Ranoa University of Magic guarantees at least one career path. His child would then be _expected_ to follow in his footsteps. But seeing that quest coming up, he'd have to max out his two years sabbatical allowance from his studies or drop out altogether.

Oh the person Nanahoshi mentions she has to speak to again about Conditional Summoning is not Orsted. This is not a spoiler I just blame the anime for making both scenes in the anime where she mentions this person very hard to remember and removing most of the context based around it. But all you really need to know plot wise is Nanahoshi is familiar with someone else who she can't really name for whatever reason at this point. Rudy knows it's not Orsted too.

Here is my last comment. Someone else talked about Norn they had a great comment so I don't need to say much. But Norn is actually only 10 years old right now in the story. I don't think the anime says her age at all. But shes 10. Even was brave enough and had enough self control to not beg or suggest Rudy to go. She is self aware of his situation. She fully intended to sneak out all on her own. Yes it's completely foolish of her but to me it seems like she did not want to place it on Rudy. To be selfish. But when Rudy just happened to be there and when she feel. Everything came pouring out all her feelings and emotion. It's probably all she thinks about and tries not too. Then the letter arrives and just dials up her pain to 11. This is a 10 year old girl. I think in his heart Rudy wanted to go. I'm not saying going is the right choice or anything like that. I'm not sure there is a right choice here. But I can't put this one on Norn like at all. I know overall you aren't either. But I remember how much I cared about my parents at 10. How worried I could be over simple things. I can't imagine being Norn. Perhaps I can and that's what makes me the most sad. For better or worse Rudy has made his choice it seems.
