He realizes he could have used this as a way of getting out of going on the three year trip. Also, While he is shown to have something of a relationship with Meimei, it is Fengxian who he is truly in love with. It says in the anime that Meimei had hopes of Lakan buying her out, only to end with her heart broken as he loved Fengxian, her big sister in the brothel, just a little bit more. Meimei did truly want Lakan to buy her out, and even had affection for him, but he only had eyes for the dying Fengxian. The entire love story is a tragedy.

If Sylphy were trapped in the crystal instead, Rudy would become as impulsive as his father. It's just human nature. Even if they went back and took a lot of time to prepare thoroughly and find stronger people, it would still be impossible to face the Hydra without any casualties.

Regarding Mao Mao's Finger: FengXian did Mutilate Mao Mao's finger as a baby. It's hard to tell in the anime, but her Left Pinky was cut off from the last joint. As Mao Mao says, it DOES grow back to a degree, and without staring at it in multiple scenes you wouldn't notice, but it is deformed, a bit shorter than it should be, and has a odd gnarled fingernail on the pinky.

I might be misremembering, but iirc Ruijerd met back up with Paul's group in West Port (port city on Millis that connects with East Port on Central Continent) or Millishion. Ruijerd found Norn first when she was separated from the group, then Roxy found the pair, with Roxy assuming that Ruijerd was trying to kidnap her. Roxy freaked out when she realized Ruijerd was a Superd, but stood her ground to try and protect Norn.

Mushoku's ending is one of the best that actually made me cry and stare at the wall for a longggg while. What a story. Season 3 should be better than both seasons 1 and 2. My God... It's what we light novel readers have been waiting for

The source material has 26 volumes of LN. The current anime was very consistent of adapting 3 volumes into one cour, and since there were 2 2-cour seasons. the current story is fully adapted to Volume 12. Don't get me wrong, there's a ton of cut content that couldn't make into the anime, and despite how optimistic fans are, I still believe that will be the case in Season 3 onwards. Likely Season 3 cour1 will end at Volume 15, since that's a very good point to end (End at volume 14 will cause a cliffhanger). and cour 2 should end at either volume 17 or 18, both are fine points to make a seasonal ending. As far as I understand how the industry works, most anime have the purpose to sell the source material, and for a finished series, there's really a limited profit to make onto, so I do believe Studio Bind will likely rush through the story in the exact same pace we had for the past 2 seasons.

Puella Magica Madoka should be a must! The new 4th) movie is coming out this year and so far it has 12 episodes and 3 movies (first two movies is the show cut in two, 6 and 6 episodes with minor changes and then the third movie being the continuation) It is a cornerstone of anime. There are 26 LN in the main series, and I think 3 continuation/spinoffs. The first one was recently released. Season two covered through Volume 12. Season 3 will be extremely combat and lore heavy. Theoretically, it should blow the first 2 seasons out of the water entirely.
