I like the movie but some things in it Was a lot of hidden things like secrets when Mei turned red she hides her parents hid it from her it can easily relate to life to. My favorite parts were the ending well close to it when we see her mother and Mei’s grandma look like mom and the mother looked like Mei( I thought she went into younger version to give her another try but it was not. but they said there is only one chance to vanish the panda but the others got to vanish theirs a 2nd time so it was not a one time thing. it may have been only 4 or 5 years until next time than I can see why they may have come to the conclusion once in a lifetime the other favorite part is a boy helps encourage her to be herself and a third favorite is where her friends encourage her even after they found out she turns into a red panda. there are several more so that a peak of my favorites of the show

Why does she keep calling mei (May), ME? I can only guess the narrator is only reading someone else’s opinion and pronouncing the characters name incorrectly. I did love this film but I do believe they should have perhaps made it PG7 or PG10. I know some parents don’t really want to explain the whole cycle biology to their sons that early in life. Or daughters for that matter. Although I think this could be a great tool for a parent to bridge the subject to their pre teen daughter.

Mei's hair is originally black, when she turns into a red panda her hair changes color. The scenes where she has black hair are from the beginning of the movie.
