as a former door dasher!! APARTMENT COMPLEXES ARE THE WORST TO DELIVER TO!! so be easy on the dashers!! we do try our absolute best! if you have not done it or been in the position, do not talk poorly on the dashers!! cause it’s ROUGH!!

Especially when the numbers are weird and it’s like OK it’s not on the second floor so let me try the other building and really it was on the first building third-floor 😭 Exercise for me I guess

no trust i do completely understand i have also delivered before so i do understand it’s hard sometimes this was just built up frustration from it happening time after time after time but all respect does go out to the drivers i just support would’ve been more helpful

i mean when the person who ordered is continuously calling and trying to get in touch with their dasher then that’s not really a her issue it’s the dashers. if they have trouble finding the delivery spot they should be contacting her and not just sitting and waiting around. i don’t think she was bashing anyone , it’s frustrating when your trying to help them find you and they aren’t even answering 😂

yea but some just don’t read the drop off instructions or don’t care I put building number, apartment number, and THE FLOOR and they still leave it at the wrong door (the numbers are huge on the door) or they leave it outside on the stairs

I’ve had bad service with DoorDash about a week ago I ordered food from McAlisters I watched my dasher pick up my order started driving the wrong way not in the direction of my location then just vanished on the dropping off my food. Ugh it was so frustrating to not get my food

Doordash would always send dashers to the complex behind mine! Drove me crazy! I would always message them saying what complex I am and what road it was off of. If dashers are driving, sometimes the messages don’t come through for safety reasons (ie no texting and driving type) Sometimes I wouldn’t get messages until after delivering.. then I would be like “oh crap!” Run and grab the food and bring it where they were telling me. Doordash support SUCKS, whether you’re the customer or the dasher! ALSO ! APARTMENT CONPLEXES NEED TO BE MORE LIT UP!!! 😭
