A story about the thoughts and feelings of a new football fan who found herself attending the 2023 Woman's World Cup final as a turnstile attendant.
An original story written by Vince and created on an iPad Pro [6th generation] using the LumaFusion app.
The story was originally written in July 2006 as a submission for a BBC radio writing request held during the 2006 men's football World Cup. In all the BBC received over 1100 entries and decided against publication, possibly because they were interested in actual real stories rather than fiction.
The story was adapted to suit the woman's World Cup, one day prior to the final between England & Spain, Australia 2023.
