The moment you get a turtle, keep them right under UV light in basking area & shallow water where they can keep their face out & body in water. Put some food in that same tank. After a couple of hours soaked in the light, they will start eating! Reason for not eating - Retailers keep them in water with no heater or light which stresses out turtle & they get sick!

Sir mera turtle abi 3 months phle aya bht comfortable or active hai he plays ,he sleeps,he spend time in water n on land too ...only prblm is he never eats his pellets..or kuch alag khana dene se darr lagta hai bcoz jaha se liya tha wo uncle ne kaha k sirf pellets do or else other food will disturb his stomach n he will get sick slowly...what shoul i do so he eat he is small like 5 or 6 months

Hello sirji, I have a turtle who is 15 yrs old.. Before use to feed normal turtle/fish food then due to lockdown, couldn't go out. I fed him chicken for few days. Now it has stopped eating his normal food but only wants raw chicken.. Pls guide sir what I could do..!!
