Hi Juan, I had a question or two, sorry. I wanted to understand better what you mean when you say “grow it out”, with the two chains at the end of the row. I know you don’t put a stitch in them, so I don’t understand how they grow out the scarf. I just want to figure out what the purpose of the two chains are. Also, I wanted to know if you did another tutorial on how you weaved the center of the Red Heart SS Fall and Aran color scarf? If so, could you direct me to it, please. I absolutely love how you teach and your voice is very monotone and I mean that in a good way. Your tone of voice never seems rushed or hurried as some others do. So please don’t take my saying your voice is monotone in the wrong way. I made your Ombre Ribbed Scarf and happened to have the exact yarn Mandala in Cool Colorway, and Juan I sincerely cannot tell you enough how much i absolutely positively am in love with it. It's so quick and easy and kind of a Hand to the Forehead moment because it's so easy. Why hadn't I already figured this out !!! I am currently making a double crochet only triangle scarf/shawl out of Red Heart Mistletoe. I am already at 35” wide from point to center but it’s only 55” long! Did I do something wrong? I do want it to be longer so I can wear it as a shawl… thanks in advance. Love your channel and look forward to each new video. Keep up the good work you’re doing great! I should mention, I am using a 6 mm hook for some drape… the pattern I’m following has 2 DC at the end of every row (instead of your 3) and at the apex I’m going 2 DC, 2 ch, 2 DC (instead of your 1s). Would this change the shape that much? I did see your two triangle shape examples…Sorry I’m new to crocheting and teaching myself off KZfaq and have nobody IRL to ask questions 😂

I have question. Not exactly only for this pattern but for all triangle ones. And I really really wish someone will explain this to me. Why at the peak we do 2 chains? Will making only one change someyhing so drasticaly that the shawl/scarf will not work? I triednit on a small sample and saw nothing wrong with it even holes looked smaller which i liked. But when checking this and other tutorials everyone makes 2 chains.
