Damn bro it b like that , watch your side profile and spin every so often to see where people are at. Every spin I do , I try to move towards an empty spot and repeat,,, also your gf/partner should try and low key pull you away from someone so that Yk , and can re/adjust the other way

@@brandonaburto523good advice right there^^ but yeah it’s somewhat a team effort to avoid people but you still lead regardless. Once y’all get a good flow dancing together over time you’ll be able to mix dancing whilst also avoiding people without skipping a beat. More practice with each other will help you avoid bumping people as well as accidentally tripping on each others feet. And idk if it’s like a “dance code” i guess but I tend to notice people kinda dance in a circle so also read where others go and you might notice most times people kinda go around in a circle all around the dance floor so go with the flow.

Why care so much about other people? The added anxiety never helps anyone. Just do your best and forget the rest. Have fun!

Bro with all due respect just keep asking your gf to dance and than you'll soon be avoiding all those bumps against people. As far learning how to dance, my number one tip is folding your knee as if you were posing for a photo and you have a hand on one hip. It's a bit girlish but this works for beginners!

The guy does lead, to let her know where you want to go, have a firmer hand on her waist and pull her towards where you're moving (not too hard of course) for steps: since your legs are in between eachother, the leg just naturally follows the other partners leg.
