Really good stuff! What I like is that you make mistakes. Many mistakes. And you correct them. Or make changes. You keep talking and explaining as you go. The trouble with many videos is they run through steps so smoothly and then when you try to do it just one error and you're lost with no clue as to even how you got lost. I swear it is usually the people who just learned the program are the best teachers, not the experts who know everything. Those people can't get to a level to teach the new people because they are bewildered as to why everybody can't follow what they are saying. And many of these people don't teach the program. They say "I show you how to make a thing". And they do, brilliantly. But you don't learn much. Just the narrow part about how to make this thing. And they also talk a mile a minute. I have to rewind frequently to get what they blurb over.. I guess I've been wanting to unleash this rant for awhile. So to conclude, I hope you post some more with the same teaching style. It works for me. I bet it works for others. Thanks.

This is entertaining i dont know why? I think its the fact that I like seeing other people struggle because it helps me deal with my own

1 tip I would to give for tutorial style videos: start with showing the intended end result (either printed product, a sketch or just the finished Fusion360 model). That way our brain can better understand how each step relates to the bigger picture.

Thanks for the video, I learnt a couple of general things. I found it frustrating to keep having to correct the wrong moves it was very confusing. I prefer not to follow on the fly.

How does the printer handle the rod inside the hinge? The way you've printed it seems like it was in the air, inside the middle section, yet it works.

Hi Im new to this. If I wanted to model a non in place hinge how would I do this. I want to make a finger and its be easier to not print in place

Sorry, but at the halfway point I had to stop. Freewheeling obviously has advantages for you but I really think your tutorials need a bit of planning. I'm sure you know how to design things but all the flipping back and forth makes it really difficult to understand what you're trying to achieve.

I will be a contrary voice here. I found the failure to edit out mistakes very frustrating.. trying to help my kid follow along for school homework and watching them repeatedly pause and struggle to work through the steps only to have you stop and say “ooooohhhh that’s not right oh I am so stupid”. They did have a swear word count going which they enjoyed. Like. I get mistakes happen but the thing where you undid the entire surface making the lid hinge shape was cringey af. Sure leave a couple of oopses in where you struggled to get the right command in the menu but a huge goof like that? Cut that out and say “I screwed that whole thing up the first time through.. let’s do it right” or something

Painful watching this video. Keep waiting for "it" to make sense! I don't need to watch someone screwing up when learning something new! This could have been a good video if you took some time to figure it out in advance.
