How does it connect to a computer. Can you turn off your computer or leave it switched on when recharging? I understand the power comes from the mains 240v. ?

Hi, im thinking about purchasing these headphones for my tv but will mainly be using them for gaming via my ps4, xbox one and Nintendo Switch. Will these headphones, connected correctly to my tv, work for EVERYTHING connected to the tv, including Netflix and my games consoles?

What if you want to use the rca method and want no one else to hear ? Ie if you tv has no headphone jack

I was told at the store that I can use these headphones via an optical cable but there is no mention of that in the video or instruction book, can someone enlighten me please

I have these earphones. I do not see how they can be connected to an optical cable without a separate adapter.

On Sennheiser's website it reads that all the other RS models (except RS 165) have optical connection option.

Range is advertised as "up to 100 ft" but actually about 25 ft. Don't expect to walk around the house without signal interruptions.

You described the opposite of what his question was, 3:26 shows you how to use the RCA on the back of the TV and at 3:26 it clearly states the TV speakers will remain broadcasting. Necessary or not wasn't his query my friend.
