yeah, once people realize how much better and performant affinity is, many people will switch who aren't adobe slaves / bitter vets :P there's affinity Keynote video on youtube, where it shows a 22milion% zoom on iPad , instant zooms in realtime.. it lacks some more complex tools like graph tool and shaper tool , but is way easier to draw in even now.. specially for newcomers , AI is so cluttered AI... every designer i know have sayd they dont even use half the tools there one significant advance i would see in Ai is the ease you can create 3d/isometric shapes from flat ones in few clicks... Affinity feels like it's tottaly tailored for web,ui/ux design... dont have to switch between 2 softwares.. u can do more common raster tasks in designer... in the end, tool is a tool -> i personally have Ai, Affinity,Inkscape,Gravit .. all installed haha :P I like Affinity the best so far. bezier pen with Smart Mode on is really good... i think it actually dedects reference photos and curves it.. really fast to draw There's a Keynote video, how much more easier and awesome Affinity is -> kzfaq.info/get/bejne/ipuTdpmlxL3TeH0.html check this 21:55 -> 20million% zoom , artception ... I also tested out affinity vs ai .. with a 100k node image trace , affinity performs 2x better, atleast on my machine
