I work in IT, thought not nearly to the extent of a degree and understanding enough coding and the like, but if these were cringeworthy before, they must be hell for the people who actually understand those systems. Hacking through the POWER CORD though. I mean I know the writers think they're slick with two people on one keyboard but for someone to write that and actors to act it and then the scene to still not end up on the editing room floor...

I'm literally in high school but I have always wondered the same thing regarding tv "hacking" interfaces. I mean... Who designs these? And why did they go "this is military grade software built to protect a secret government base. Let's make it look like a shittier version of Windows 7."

I stayed with family a few years ago and my Aunt loved NCIS. I really had to struggle when they got into these "hacking" scenes to not just laugh out loud at how stupid it was.
