Personally for more significant films such as Star Wars and Spider-Man I think the long reviews are amazing. For other things like this and shows/movies not as massive as those two franchises these shorter reviews are great! More of you is always good.

If I'm completely honest, I was not expecting this to be as good as it was. I'm pleasantly surprised with how much I enjoyed this format. The return of "Qui-Gon Gin", the consistent use of jokes and references that flow perfectly with the review itself, it's all really great. You cover the necessary parts perfectly. As much as I enjoyed the old format, I think the gems that we have with that format will have to be kept for the rest of time and safely guarded in the Jedi archives. This new format can bring a lot of great reviews, and I'm really excited to see what else you have in store for us.

Ok, as much as I love the old review format… I LOVE THIS STYLE TOO!!! It’s fast paced but you can still understand your points. It’s still really funny and it’s a great review. It’s still got your trademark green screen and funny clips and it is basically a shortened version of the long reviews but more easy-going to casual viewers and just as good These plus the green screen skits are a perfect balance for your channel and hopefully this means we can see more uploads that are still a high quality

This format is great. Its got a pretty breakneck pace, at least in the beginning, especially regarding the clips and cutaways to other characters. It was a teeny bit overwhelming. It seems to mellow out a bit in the latter half, not sure if I just got used to the pacing or if it genuinely slowed down. But overall I'm down for this kind of content in the future. Very nicely done.

Ngl. I LOVE the quicker pace of comedy here. Your jokes have more impact and (kinda in a an Amazing World of Gumball way) if there’s a joke that doesn’t land for me, or doesn’t hit me as hard, you hit me with another very soon after. It makes for a nice flow of jokes and helps with pacing your vids. Overall, consider me very impressed and entertained! Kinda reminds me of Ranton’s video pacing.

This video is great. 😃 In terms of this being a replacement for the standard movie reviews, I would like a more in-depth plot review for movies; this specific episode felt more like your game reviews, where plot was kind of a tertiary concern, which works for a TV show, but I think would work less so for a movie. Not something crazy long, but I would like you to delve into plot itself rather than just premise.

I’ve been subscribed since the Harry Potter reviews, in a perfect world I would love your classic movie reviews, but as a fellow video editor I know how much time those take up. That being said I do like this “shorter” style reviews except for the breakneck speed. The reason why people absolutely fell in love with your old reviews are because IMO, it felt like sitting down with a friend. This almost feels too over edited. That being said, I’m still smiling ear to ear just seeing a video uploaded.

I think this is a good format going forwards for reviews and whatnot. The old format was great and we’ll all continue to love those videos, but KZfaqrs and their styles evolve. When it got to the point of basically one review per year, not only did that leave everybody hungry for more, but I’m willing to bet that it didn’t do the channel any favours with the algorithm, which favours frequent uploads. This new format captures your sense of humour and phenomenal editing, but presents it in a much faster paced and shorter way. Overall, I love it. I’ll miss the old format, but this is by no means a bad way to go forwards IMO.

This is a really great format and if it gets us more content from you, I'm all for it! 🙂

Yeah I think this is perfect, a great blend of critical and comedy. I would still like to see your game reviews be as In depth as they have been, but if they need to be shorter too I think this blend will work great there too, really looking forward to seeing more :)

Love this form of your review. Not going lie, love your longer reviews and binge watch them when I’m working on my university assignments. But I understand why you’ve changed it to have more quantity reviews and hopefully we get more. Wouldn’t wind you just doing shorter formats for RV shows, movies and games. Hey man. I just want to say, I've been a fan of your channel since 2015 and as much as I like your old style of reviews, this style is a refreshing change of pace. Stick with it! If you're taking suggestions, may I suggest doing reviews on any updated thoughts on the Harry Potter series?

It works well. I miss the old reviews that were longer than the actual films they reviewed. But if you really wanted to make another long review, just do what "Arlo" did for Breath of the Wild and make a multipart review that you merg into one eventually.

Do both! Always been a fan since the Harry Potter days of shorter reviews and going back to the quicker pace is refreshing, although your LOTR reviews will always be my absolute favorites. Keep the pace of both long and short if you can manage, I'd say for your shorter reviews make sure to keep the quality of the comedic use of clips high rather than jam packing them in but I'll never turn down a new Suspect video. Hope these thoughts help!

I think this format is definitely the way to go. Whilst it will be sad to see the longer videos go, it's a change I'm willing to see if it means we get more videos. Also as shown here, it frees you up to review other things instead of just films.

Hey Ross... This was an interesting new review. It covered the show well and there were a lot of funny gags... If I had any cons, it would be that the whole thing went by at a very rapid pace. Some of the jokes/clips happened so quickly I might have missed a few. Also, your describing of the season's plot line was so quick, I had to really pay extra attention to keep track of everything... I know you wanna do shorter reviews, but maybe take an extra second or two before cutting to the next clip or scene... Overall, I enjoyed the video. If someone's not into rapid fire videos, they might have a hard time getting into it, but it was still fun and interesting to watch... I don't have as strong of a nostalgia for The Mighty Ducks as other people. I've only seen the first movie, but I loved it as a kid. So it was interesting to see Emilio Estevez come back as this character... Hope my feedback was helpful. Keep at it man!

I do like this new format as it really allows you to put more emphasis on what works and doesn't work in a film/show as opposed to doing a synopsis and then getting into the analysis. I mean, I will miss the old format but, if it means getting faster content from you, I ain't complaining. However, I feel with this new style, you may want to pull it back a bit on the multitude clips from other media. It just seemed too rapid-fire and, at times, unnecessary. Just try not put too many in at once. Other than that, I am super excited to see what else will come about soon. Cheers, mate!

For TV shows this is perfect. Definitely use this format for all TV shows. However for movies I think it depends on the movie. Some of the big MCU movies like guardians of the galaxy, Thor, the avengers and all of the Star Wars movies I think the old style is by far the better route. However for smaller MCU movies like iron man 2 and 3 and Thor the dark world this newer quicker format is better. Basically for movies depending on how good it was use whichever style is most appropriate

It seems good, I would say, try more of these for sure - it's also important to keep yourself happy/energised, and thus, more creative, which will reflect on the content

My only complaint is that the episodes aren’t longer which does a disservice to the side character. Feel like it could reach Cobra Kai levels of quality and attention with a longer runtime.

Huh. I’ve only heard of this show from Tony Goldmark’s podcast, Escape from Vault Disney (more specifically from his D2 review.)

A little too meme heavy for me as while most of them work for the context some just feel unneeded or random and out of place like 5:04- 5:15 for example. But over all the new format works well and has some good jokes in it. That intro especially was great seeing you so excited for the movies.

I love your content and am always overjoyed to see you upload new work. I liked the review and I’m super impressed with how many versatile clips and cutaways you used for this one… but that being said, it was way too frantic. Genius, but overdone and it made the pacing of everything feel scatterbrained and a bit hard to take. I mean this with all due respect, but if it was toned down a bit I think it would greatly benefit the video

Bit late on this, but I'd suggest to do what others are suggesting: Long reviews for more significant films like Star Wars, Marvel, and DC, but you can do shorter ones for other stuff.

If i had a nickle for every time Disney made a reboot tv show of a franchise from the late 80s/early 90s about a group of ducks id have 2 nickels Which isnt a lot but its weird that it happened twice Review the reboot of Ducktales it is beyond amazing and is written more for the adults watching than the kids
