TV as it was years ago...Openings of the popular programs, most from Monday night prime time, with full commercials, including cigarette commercials that were banned in 1971. Shows ran on ABC, CBS, and NBC.

Most of these ads and shows are from my earliest memories and earlier, but I will say this, at that time the themes and jingles were as much a part of the experience as the programs themselves. TV was still rather young and quite a novelty. These gems are as much a part of our history as any other moments of the era. What a great time to be alive, even with its faults, it was a gentler time.

I do remember most of these shows/commercials. Television was great back then, yes in black n white! The horror pictures used the shadows and shades and made the TV Show/Movie very scary without even showing the deed!
