My wife and I are in our 50’s and have “officially” only been bowling for 2 years. We’ve talked to several pro’s and watched several hours / 100’s of videos of instruction, tips and tricks to improve our game. This video, by far, has been the best video that we have watched! You definitely have a gift for teaching and we hope that you’re able to keep putting out more great content like this while spending time with family and taking time off from the tour! Thank you!

It's been a real up and down year for me. On week I shot 770 and two days later shot 498. I took a lesson from a pretty good coach and got better, more consistent. I watched this video before my normal Sunday practice and it brought everything together. Thank you Michael.

The description about the elbow facing your target, and the rotation of the arm being like a "spring" and naturally pronating/supinating is some pretty high level secret sauce. Fantastic instructional video.

Thank you for your brilliant lesson! I am 67 years old and have always bowled straight. I am now learning the Right Way to bowl and your lesson is the BEST! I thank you from the bottom of my heart and equator! I have been dropping the ball until you taught me to be below the equator. You completely ROCK! Thanks again.

Awesome instructional video! You kept the explanation on target. Breaking the focus into small parts and then providing a great drill to bring it all back together really helped. There was no shortage of information delivered however, the importance of understanding your body in its anatomically natural positions, and then using that knowledge to achieve something without having to do unnecessary things such as over rotating upon release is so important. I think it’s great that you mentioned that. Looking forward to looking at and learning from the rest of your videos!

This video is EXACTLY what I have been searching for! I love the simple 3 concept approach, with one concept building on the other. I never properly understood the correct elbow orientation even though I have seen dozens of other videos attempting to explain it. You also explained very clearly why my ball often goes far left or far right, which always frustrated me! Thank you so much. You are a natural teacher, so keep up the good work!

FYI : with your head over the ball directly , as you demonstrate , your aim at your target ( similar to a billiard player with his chin directly over the cue stick when stroking ) can increase your accuracy , hence a more favorable outcome !
