sorry but she actually did, you can see that in her later promotions, she used a backing track instead. Her doctor told her to stop singing the highs or she might have to stop singing forever.

@@litvenplayosu not just the high notes, she's sings this whole song in a falsetto (falsy, quintessential cute voice). Singing like that for a long time can permanently damage the vocal cords. If you see her newer songs, you'll notice that her voice is a lot more deep and strong than this one.

Mojo JoJo i watched her in concert this weekend and when she sang good day, she sang it in a much less ‘cutesy’ voice. more similar to her current singing voice. coming here i can see how she was using a ‘fake’ voice during this promotion period. her performance during the concert was FLAWLESS by the way 😭😩😭😩 the way she came down from the high notes at the end for the final line.... art. sublime art. i bow at the foot of the throne of this queen

She usually sounds better than this, to be fair she is dancing around. But in the beginning she sounded very airy, she got better as it went on though. Except that big 3 note belt, that sounded way too pushed, it must've hurt.

Trust me, at first it’s very hard to do the high note while dancing (I’ve done it) but the more u do it, the easier it gets but the sicker u get too, my throat hurts and it’s been a week because I sand the high note like 1000 times

3:37 - She is on the key however, strained high notes due to a wrong technique and we can hear those screeching from her voice... although this song was also the reason for her prominence and it's iconic 4-bar high note! Hopes she's being cautious to those high notes! Or she is simply pressured for that promotion period! But both can be the reasons! Overall, she survived it.

Bruh, remember how (forgot his name already)iconic her main male back up dancer was for GoodDay? And then you see Yohan in the back, and I'm just like wow, #IUteamforever. Honestly, I'm so proud of him for all of his choreography work over the years.
