Duc Tran ???? But like this song was the one that abled her to pay off her debts tho that’s just a fact. If the songs before could have payed of her debt then it would have been payed already in 2008. They only debuted in mid 2007 so it’s not like they had a bunch of songs by 2009 when Gee came out. And actually before this song Gee, they weren’t that popular. The most views they were getting were under 10mil I believe. Gee is what blew them up in Korea and I gotta boy blew them up internationally. I don’t remember which member of Redvelvet it was but one of them didn’t pay off all their debt until either Dumb Dumb or Ice-cream cake era, even though all their songs before that were hits in Korea and a bit in outside countries.

I'm here after a year later, i can't really agree with your point. If you see 2009 GG's performance, you will see they were very pale and very thin. I really think Girls Generation is the ones who set the standard too high. GG is the ultimate girl group. I'm not saying they are bad or not, just saying your point is not valid.

저당시에 가림토 닮았다는 느낌 이미지가 너무 강해서... 실제로 인상자체가 닮긴 했지만 그거때문에 그렇게 예쁜이미지로 안 봤었는데 지금 편견없이 보니 진짜 청순하고 천사같네요

In many moments they are lipsyncing and the backtrack it's actually high, stop with that shit, they shined not matter if they do lipsync or not. Performances aren't just vocals, it's also dance, facial expressions, energy, stage presence, emotions, connection with the public and between the members, even outfits and the stage.

Not really a fan of SNSD, but kpop noobs gotta stop comparing the newer groups to the "sunbae" groups who has debuted 9+ yrs 😂👌🏻✋🏻✌🏻️ Obviously they are incomparable cuz one had more experience than the other. I'm sure your newer groups will be standing where the older groups are standing today.

not to be rude but that's the first instinct of a kpop newbie is to compare the first thing that they actually like to something that they had never seen before. i know you're telling facts but that's kinda wrong to down what they like better just because SNSD existed longer, its like you're discouraging them to love something they genuinely like and seem to try to force them to stan SNSD because they existed longer. they can really realize that once they start knowing more about the history of kpop and getting into it more. I stanned gfriend and i don't really stan SNSD but i still think SNSD is better. another thing i see is they're mostly just saying from the twicexgfriend ver, they aren't really saying its better. Y'all sones should be happy that these newbies are discovering SNSD and watching this legendary video...

Gee was released in 2009 lol On their second album. They made their debut just like every other group including groups now. You can compare groups. You don't compare new groups to SNSD now, but you can compare them to SNSD back then.

Rookie snsd will always be a fresh breath of air that makes your heart flutter and make you forget all your worries. I miss 2009, the time were Kpop was just really hitting it big globally, there was no really big demand to go viral veiws wasnt important. Everyone appreciated the music and diversity.

gee 당연히 운동화 신고 무대했을 것 같았는데 힐신고 했었구나.... 지 말고도 전반적으로 소시무대 거의 힐 신고하던데 얼마나 연습을 빡세게 한거여ㄷㄷㄷㄷㄷ 지금은 운동화신는 걸그룹이 많아졌지만 저때는 걸그룹 대부분이 힐이었어서 많이 힘들었을 것 같음
