It began with IOTNBO then I got mesmerized by him so I searched for another work of his which led me to My Love from the Star where I craved more for him bcoz he displayed a unique acting. So I got to Moon Embracing the Sun. Oh boy this actor really is a league of its own! No wonder all the excited praises I read when he appeared a cameo role in CLOY and Hotel De Luna. And I wondered back then who is he. Now watching The Producers. The horizon is endless for Kim Soo Hyun 🥰😍😘

The moon embracing the sun would be 3.5/10, consider potential of the actors and actresses with a better script, I would give it 4.5/10 I have not really watched it. Based on a few episodes and other videos I have seen. The moon embracing the sun: - No character development - A king without action, couldn’t fight, couldn’t make decision, no power. - The King character was just walking around and crying - The lead female character was just running and crying just like Bollywood tv, showing the face and crying, then showing other character face and crying. - The second lead male character was not well developed. - Final fight scene needed more actors.

Kim soo hyun and other show their full potential. Viewers are not stupid. This drama cross 46% viewrship. This drama is more about love story, mystery and conspiracy. There are action scenes. This drama was massive blockbuster. Script is also good. Ost are superb. All scenes are marvelous.

Avtansh Singh It’s not a historical drama. Actions I mentioned were not about fighting. The lead female and male character had nothing to give, I meant the characters, not the actor or actress. The whole thing was just sitting, running, crying and not doing any meaningful thing. If you had watched other drama like The Four Gods, Dae Jangkum, you would have seen ‘historical drama’ differently. Most of Korean ‘historical drama’ the Kings have no actions, no power and can’t make any decision. I would have watched it because I have loved Ha Ga-In since 2000s from the show ‘Terms of Endearment’. I was wondering why she wasn’t in more dramas. I was surprised and wanted to watch ‘The moon embracing the sun’, but after a few episodes the story became stupid, then I skipped. I watched almost every episode by skipping. The performance of Kim Soo-Hyun in that show wasn’t so good. Of course those crying scenes were good. But because the character was ‘nothing’ except ‘crying’. But I liked his performance in ‘the thieves’, ‘Secretly Greatly’, ‘My love from the Star’, and especially ‘The producers’. We all love Kim Soo-Hyun. I would have loved his performance in The moon embracing the sun if the ‘king character’ had something to do in the show beside crying.
