TVS has increased prices for the Apache RTR 160 2V variants. This Rs 3,500 price premium now has the Apache RTR 160’s prices starting from Rs 97,000. The Apache RTR 160 2V gets a fuel injected motor as part of its BS6 update. TVS has also announced a bunch of festive offers for the motorcycle, and you can read all about it here.
TVS Apache RTR 160 Price:
The TVS Apache RTR 160 2V prices start from Rs 97,000 for the rear drum variant and Rs 1,00,000 for the rear disc variant (ex-showroom, Delhi). The new BS6 bikes are now around Rs 9,200 more expensive than their equivalent BS4 counterparts.
TVS Apache RTR 160 Features:
The TVS Apache RTR 160 2V now gets fuel-injection to help it meet BS6 emission standards, and Glide Through Technology to aid convenience in slow-moving traffic. Instrumentation is semi-digital and the Apache 160 also gets LED DRLs and an LED tail-lamp. Safety is taken care of by single-channel ABS on the TVS Apache RTR 160.
TVS Apache RTR 160 Engine:
Powering the Apache RTR 160 is an air-cooled, fuel-injected 159.7cc single-cylinder engine. The updated mill now produces 15.53PS at 8400rpm and 13.9Nm at 7000rpm, which is 0.42PS and 0.87Nm more than the BS4 model, thanks to fuel-injection. It’s also quite likely that fuel efficiency has increased or at the very least remained the same. The engine is mated to a 5-speed gearbox.
TVS Apache RTR 160 Suspension & Brakes:
The Apache RTR 160 2V’s underpinnings include a double-downtube cradle frame and KYB suspension in the form of a conventional telescopic fork and preload-adjustable twin shock absorbers. Braking is via a 270mm front petal-type disc. At the rear you can choose between either a 130mm drum or 230mm petal disc. Single-channel ABS is standard for both variants. .
TVS Apache RTR 160 Rivals:
The Apache RTR 160 competes against the Pulsar 150, Yamaha FZ V3, Honda XBlade. For the same price, you can also buy the Avenger 160 , Ns 160 , Rtr 160 4v , Xtreme 160 .

I have never seen a fool like you. 1. Use a rubber key chain what's wrong in that what does TVS have to do? provide a rubber pad near the keyhole??? 2. Front brake has abs it kicks in progressively it's for your safety, I don't think it's a problem. 3. I think your rear brake pad is worn out, check the pads and replace them. Otherwise, just inform the service guys they will correct it if it's touching. 4. This is not an off-roading bike hence I think the headlight is enough for city use. 5. The power to weight ratio will take a hit on any bike as the load increases its common sense that you may feel a bit less powerful. 6. BS6 you will have to keep your lights on all-time TVS did not make that rule. 7. Gear shift indicator is mostly used by first-time rider to learn, also its bad driving style to practice using indicator each time you keep looking at the screen while driving, diverting your view can cause an accident either to you or you will hit someone else. better avoid using gear shift indicators. 8. Bike average dependents on each driving style, for first 3 months of bike you should never cross 60kmph then the engine gets set properly after that you should explore the RTR speed and performance, Also you are comparing this with RE 350 that bike will never give the performance of this bike and pickup and high speeds. That bike is a cruiser this is a sports commuter. 9. Fuel indicator displays that initially for some time after riding it shows the actual fuel level. This needs to be informed to the service guy. 10. Vibration can be avoided by following the process I explained for a better average. 11. This is not a stunt bike to do low-angle cornering or stunts, for a commuter the stock tire is fine. But TVS tires are not known for the best grip. 12. If it's raining then I don't think it's a problem the water would not flow into the seat, but high-pressure water wash will surely get water into the seat and soak the paperwork, that's understandable. 13. With the FI system and BS6 norm of always-on lights the battery is designed to support electric start at all times, that's why they have removed the kicker.

Im having apache RTR 160 2v it has been 1 year and all the cons are mentioned in the video completely wrong those cons are generally in every bike in this segment (today's youtubers are like kuch bhi bol dunga kisi ko kya hi pta chalega)

@KZfaq STAR see i don't feel any problems regarding that bike but if you are buying it and expect fuel efficiency then go for another bike's note that it is not a con but being a 160cc bike and it delivers great initial pull and power so it depends on person that's the only thing and if you don't have such problems like me because i buy apache for performance so there are not any issues. That engine is very reliable and trustworthy as tvs using the same engine from a long time cuz it's a perfect engine I will suggest you go for it if you are planning to buy and if you have more budget then you can look another one but this 2v is 😘❤️

Bro pehli baat ab ap disc lagvana chahte ho to company se to lagegi nahi , 2nd agar ap ne bahar se lagvai to apki bike ki warranty khatam ho jayegi ... Aur bhai bahar ki fitting aur company fitted mai bht jyada antar hota h . Mera suggetion hai aise hi chalao don't regret now.
