Right on Drew! I just wish that I could have gotten inside of the fenced in areas.. The place is gigantic, and the next time I went there and rode around, I ended up in two more Counties! This land, it's features, and the wildlife that live here were meant to be protected.. The very last thing we'd want is for it to be connected to a place like New York City. [NY City is like parasites to the rest of us who live in NY - They ruin everything, usually at our expense] *We actually do have high speed trains and track systems very near by!* The 'Erie Railroad' is right across the street from me! Derek, Absolutely! I've seen deer hurdle themselves crazy heights into the air and over things.. And sometimes face-first Into things.. Like our vehicles here in NY. 😂 So apparently.. There are different height / styles of fences through out this area.. That depended on the types of animals that where living there.. The shorter fences - For things like Bore/Hogs up to the smaller deer.. The taller fences - For the things like larger deer, elk, etc. - They had all sorts of species there! One of the houses even has a taxidermized giraffe! A wild-game-farm and then some.. Back then, it was limited to 'private hunts' for the rich/famous.. I was told that Ted Nugent has been here, and also some big name sports figures.. Pretty cool. I spoke to a member of the family - who 'where' the caretakers - and luckily, they still are! So when it warms up, I'm Hoping to pop over and bribe them for a tour. **Fingers Crossed
