I know that lately I have worked on a few other peoples vehicles but to be honest it pays and gives me the ability to make you guys another video. Today we tackle a lowering kit on my neighbors 2012 GMC Yukon Denali. I know that I have done a few SUV drops in the past but this one is a little easier as you don't have to do the free travel mod. He also wanted to get this finished while they were on vacation as a surprise. This install is very simple and instead of making another how to I decided I would do a time lapse to show the process. This lowering kit will also work on Chevy Tahoe and Cadillac Escalade. I keep doing these projects to save up money for more Trans Am Parts lol. Hit that comment section and let me know what you think of this style of video and the Denalis new look.....

I watched your video because I wanted to lower the back of my Denali because of the back just feeling too high constantly. I found from your video where someone had modified the autoride lever to raise the back of the vehicle with the air shocks. I'm going to try to fix this now that I know what was going on then re-evaluate lowering. I am a lowered vehicle fan and on the Denali it just feels like a vehicle that should be lowered being a street oriented AWD truck that comes with low profile tires.

I just ordered Belltech 751 for our 2011 Denali w/ Autoride. It comes with front springs instead of spindles. I called Belltech customer support and they insist that I won't need threaded rods for the front AutoRide sensors, but that doesn't make sense because lower springs will change the upper control arm relative to the sensor. Does that sound right to you? I suppose I could make my own. Watching your video made me wish I had gone for the spindles for only $100 more. Great videos and extremely helpful. I have 08 Yukon Denali with 305/35 24" Seirra replicas. I want a 3/5 but everyone says it can't be done because of the air ride. Totally sucks because I like how it rides but I want it lowered. You definitely know what you are doing. I will admit I absolutely abhor the squat in the rear. 100% hard no. Here in Tennessee everyone lifts and has the front end pointing to the sky and the rear like there isn't any suspension at all. Complete hillbillies and rednecks. I want mine slammed and a slight 5/8" or so rake in the front. So a 3/5 drop is impossible? 100% lose my air ride? Thoughts?. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Love the Vette.

About a year and a half ago I die this lowering on my 2013 Denali. I have 4" in the back an the same in the front. It looks level. The ride has recently gotten really bad. I used the ebay device to eliminate the Air suspension. I kept the stock shocks on the front and changed the rear to Bell Tech. The question is can I put the stock shocks back on and hook up the air on the front and back?

Hey Travis, I did the (2-3 with cups in rear) 753 kit on a 2013 but seems like the rear springs have a weird rebound over bumps (same with no bumpstops also). Do you think I'd like the Trailblazer spring and/or does that take me to 4" in the rear? I could possibly use the cups and Trailblazer springs to get me back to 3" maybe....

For the life of me, I cannot find a source for a bypass kit for my '15 Denali. (Up thru '14....no problem.) Do you (or any readers) have a source? Honestly, not lowering......it's just that my OEM (front) shocks leak at 67K and the dealer sez $2K for replacement; so I'm thinkin' Bilsteins or other good "regular/non-magnetic" shocks. I'm guessing there is no difference between this and the XL? wife has 22" with 305/40 on it. Looking for this. Why wouldn't 2" springs in front work instead of spindles? Or would it? Had a 4/6 on my 2000 silverado and went back with a 2/4. Looks just as good but functions as a truck again. Just looking to save a little money.
