On Memorial Day Weekend 2023, I had the opportunity to go see the ET&WNC Historical Society Convention Photo Charter being held at Tweetsie Railroad. On this day Locomotive number 12 pulled a 4 car consist. This consist included Tweetsie's EX East Broad Top coach 5, the normal number 3 green car, the normal number 4 yellow car, and the normal number 5 red car. I would like to thank a certain group of people for this special opportunity.
Regular Video Description:
On 5-27-23 I went to Tweetsie Railroad with some friends of mine to enjoy the rides and the ET&WNC Convention later in the day.
This was the first time that I have seen Locomotive number 12 under steam since Tweetsie Christmas of 2023. The whistle is now sounding better than ever.

Actually, its just worn out like that. Its having the same languid plate problem that 190 did. I wonder if they'll fix it. At 12:34 you can really hear the steam leaking.

@@TheClinchfieldRailfan idk if it’s that… most times if a languid plate is deformed or messed up the whistle will screech badly. From what I can hear 12s Baldwin does not have a screech. I think they just tuned it some. But idk for sure.

@@mattdotsonrailfanproductio266 I've had my personal whistles sound extremely steamy when the languid plate or the steam admission slit isn't at its finest.

The whistle was just tuned, also whistles change over time.

The whistle did sound good. Did they cut back on the refurbishment of # 12? And congrats to Train Table Railroad for over 2 Million views!

I am not a fan of 12's current whistle. She sounded so much better in 2016-17
