In June of 2021, Tweetsie Railroad held their annual Day Out With Thomas event. Family's can take a ride behind Thomas The Tank Engine and enjoy everything else the park has to offer.
Because Thomas can't pull all 5 cars filled with smiling passengers, the locomotive chosen to help Thomas up the hill was #12. Which had new cosmetic features like the old cow catcher and a black smokebox.
