I love making projects out of paper bags. They are so easy to get your hands on and so versatile. The brown color provides a beautiful, strong natural contrast. Today we’re deconstructing paper bags and making all sorts of pretty projects.
The twelve projects we'll be working on today are as follows:
Journaling Cards, Embossed Paper, an Ocean Themed Journal, a Mini Journal, Loaded Pockets, Envelopes, Faux Postage Stamps, Fold Over Pockets, a Belly Band, Folios, Page Corners/Tucks, and the beginnings of a Purse Journal.
This is just the beginning of things you can make with a paper bag. In the video, I'll share with you that my favorite way to come up with projects is just to deconstruct the paper bag and embrace the natural folds, creases, and overlaps within the bag. Different parts of the bags lend themselves to different projects. I contend by the end of this video that the paper bag will become one of your FAVORITE supplies.
