They must also make sure that all members have the opportunity to express all their talents, and not always use the same "formula". mina is perfectly capable of maintaining the scene with a dance break and Momo is able (as we have seen in do It again and in other songs) to rap fast while always maintaining a good technique

@@alicesparalysis Jeongyeon is a better vocalist? Nayeon has better lows and runs but Jeongyeon has a healthier mixed voice, vibrato, dynamics, and better sense of pitch. I would say their falsetto/head voice are tied. Jeongyeon hasn't improved much from debut vocally but Nayeon has regressed a lot with her mixed voice and seriously strains with her high belts and she pushes it. Jeongyeon is a vocalist who knows her limits and that's why she doesn't try to push her voice into these higher belts frequently. Jeongyeon has better mid belts and if she could put that and make it work with her high belts then she would be better for belting parts in their music. Nayeon's low register is pretty impressive comparison to Jeongyeon.

Keep in mind, while distributing line, not only position count, wether you fit the line or not, that the problem. and also, your voice need to harmony with the member singing after you. It would be weird to hear chaeyoung soft sing voice and suddenly jihyo loud strong voice.

JYP doesn't like Jeongyeon's voice. Even though TWICE have tried more mature concepts, Jeongyeon still can't get enough lines for her vocal ability for some reason. I'm not one to care much about line distribution but it's a bit shocking how Nayeon has almost double of Jeongyeon's lines in their discography. Jeongyeon should at least be around 2800~ and Nayeon should be around 3500~ but I guess Nayeon's voice its just too perfect for TWICE's concept. I couldn't recommend other members getting less lines since it's already fine.

Not really? Jeongyeon does due to her being in the top3 vocalists in TWICE. Momo has had a lot of issues with vocals and goes more often into rap which will always have shorter lines. Tzuyu gets a good amount for her position and her skill level.

So she would obviously sing more if you add her rap lines and her vocal lines. If you remove blackpink's raps from their songs rosé had the most lines. Also in NCT, mark does not have the most lines. It's actually haechan and taeil who are both main vocalists while the centres are 3-5th. In exo the three main vocalists are the ones with the most lines. There centre is arond the bottom

Also I think it's ironic that almost every song written by jihyo or any of the other members and distributed by the other members jeongyeon always has lines and so does chaeyoung. E.g get loud jihyo gave jeongyeon a high note. Rainbow nayeon gave chaeyoung a lot of lines and treated jeongyeon liked a lead vocalist+ plus if you remove all the adlibs she actually only gave herself 9 seconds. Jihyo gave jeongyeon the most lines in up no more and gave her a lot of lines in cactus etc. Most of the songs where jeongyeon chaeyoung and all the other members has lines, they are always distributed by the other members. And they are almost always fair too.
