i genuinely think JYP himself is an amazing person, who loves Twice and his groups dearly. sometimes scandals like mistreatment can occur but it can come down to how staffing in different divisions and managements treat their artists. JYP himself don’t directly deal with idols for a lot of things as he’s a busy man himself.

True. I believe people get confused over JYP, the producer, and JYPE, the agency. He's for sure a genuine guy that has earned their respect

@@Taiokarlo Twice wouldn't be who they are if it wasn't for the mastermind JYP. Even though he is not the CEO, he still plays a huge role in the company. He is a major decision maker within the company and he is also the company's executive producer. He is also the company's largest shareholder.

There are 2 sides to JYP, one is a father like figure to all his artists and second is his businessman side where he has to make sure he gets a lot of profit for his agency to keep the investors in good faith. On paper JYPE's worth is over a billion dollars but in terms of profits they earn very less. According to the financial statements of 2021 JYPE's profits for the 4th quarter is just $12M despite the fact that TWICE had their biggest comeback ever in that quarter with a bunch of other releases as well. This shows how unprofitable K-Pop actually is compared to big music labels like UMG, Sony, Warner, etc. As fans we only care about our favs but the agencies have to find a balance between everything. So at times they make some cost cutting decisions which might make the fans angry but it keeps the profits high and the investors happy so that the cash keeps flowing in the company which can be used for comebacks and other expenses.

What makes the whole screaming his name angrily thing funnier, is the fact that moments before she was saying how it was weird for her to be so informal towards him, seeing as he was the same age as her mom. And then she just- 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Never forget that if it wasn't for JYP, we wouldn't have TWICE, and he was also the one who decided to bring in Momo despite being eliminated in sixteen. So thank you Oppa Jyp!!

I love that each one is aware of the other girls, and in their group videos they remember not to block the one next to them when they make large movements for these videos! That shows consideration and teamwork!
