I absolutely love the concept for the Talk that Talk MV. There is a great balance between sexiness and fun. There is a slightly more mature/ sexy vibe to this mv but Twice are serving it up, and the girls look as beautiful as ever.

Other girlgroups had worn sexier outfits, did sexier concepts, and made provocative moves in their choreography, but there is not much controversies, but when it comes to Twice (and some other big groups), there are noises everywhere, cos the haters are trying to feed on attention.

BIG YES. They’re grown women who have been in the industry for YEARS, they got more than enough say in what they want to wear/feel comfortable wearing. I’m honestly glad their style seems to have matured over the years, it really fits them well

I feel like over their past few comebacks we seen their style going in this direction. Like The Feels, Perfect World and the tour outfits all had elements that we're seeing in Talk that Talk. They own their style and Twice always look impeccable!

Jihyo with that bob, Dahyun in the black dress, momo in the red top & skirt, Sana with a fringe!, Jeongyeon exuding confidence... this MV broke me and I haven't stopped watching the dance practise yet. Obsessed. Fave GG for sure, every direction they take. Their MV looks always slay!

Mina herself said that outfit/concept was “legendary” in the behind the scenes video. people should stop projecting their own feelings about an outfit to baby an adult.

Thank you so much for praising Jeongyeon's looks! She's been getting so much crap for her looks this comeback when it's actually one of the times they've put (some) effort into styling her for the shape her body looks now. The only look I truly dislike is the one from their first performance because I think they didn't sit her trousers right on her waist and the change from that beautiful lace top to the brown corset was ugly-- the version she was wearing in the performance video was a thousand times better. Other than that, they've been letting her show some skin which is GOOD!

Honestly Talk that Talk deserved SO much more attention. It's such a banger, the visuals healed my visions, the music is so catchy - especially when Nayeon at the end casually slayed us with that high note. Chef's kiss 🤌

this situation reminds me of how at first people would praise wonho for how confident he is with his body but then they started saying that he is doing it for clout when he started showing skin too often for thier liking. with female idols it's especially an often case and it honestly pisses me off. if they were dressed in the same attire but with bubblegum colors they wouldn't say a thing, but because the black and red give them that striking power they don't like it and try to make it an issue of skin exposure, when it's plain obvious that some certain demographic of people doesn't like seeing twice sexy and powerful. as a once all i see is how these girls have been so confident and happy lately and it tells me everything i need to know. also i think it's what we often see with femme fatale concept in general, people like to make really nasty comment about it wether it's literature, style, music. and tbh the more people are mad about it the more i want to see it lmao

I don't have a problem with TWICE"s outfits being more mature as they are in their mid fucking twenties. The only issue I had with the outfits (specifically the red and black mature outfits) were that they didn't match the song. The song had a very powerful chorus and a more sweet and poppy bridge and the sexy outfits just seemed out of place.

I already loved the styling but I love it even more now that you’ve called attention to certain elements and throughlines between the different sets of looks! And I totally agree they’re women not underaged girls and everything is done tastefully and I had no idea there was even a controversy. I think one key aspect is that it feels either girly or badass depending on which lingerie looks we’re talking about but they all feel like stuff I might wear to feel sexy myself rather than catered to the male gaze if that makes sense!
